It’s so Tough to be a long time Ken Roczen fan. Up’s and down’s every single year or should I say every single race. Hopefully he’s not hurt too bad. If I’m him I’d take off the rest of the Supercross season and get ready for Motorcross and the Playoffs. (If he isn’t out for the rest of the year or most of the year) I’m hoping it’s just a sprain or just sore.

That was unbelievable for Roczen I don't think I've seen anything like that in 20 years watching and riding the sport. Losing control in the whoops, normal stuff but the bike blowing up and sending you over that's like winning the worst lottery ticket ever

The bike didn't blow up - the shock did, sending oil all over the exhaust (thus the smoke) and causing Kenny to not have any suspension through whoops - this was NOT rider error...

I don't think he's figured out how to handle pressure, he got himself amped up to prove himself for the East/West and then flopped. Same thing he did in his first Futures race, but he's young, he can figure it out.

Tough get off for Kickstart Kenny, hate to see it. Was loving his ride too. These indoor tracks are getting too wild. Bigger whoops, bigger jumps, and rougher than some outdoors tracks. Hate seeing these guys go down so hard every weekend. Great race Jett and Hampshire!

How good is Jett Lawrence? Right now he is outsmarting the craftiest riders on the track (Cooper Webb being the best at racecraft, IMHO), he is outrunning the fastest riders on the track, even when they are in crazy fast mode (Eli Tomac being the fastest, IMHO), and he is as consistent as any of the guys our there on the track - week end and week out.. The kid is special - as much as i hate to see a young foreigner come in and smoke the established stars of our sport, ultimately it will make EVERY rider pick up their pace and get on the beat.

I little shady tactics on Lawrence using a yellow to pass. Sportsmanship, you see a yellow and the rider in front slow down for it so you should slow down and yield with caution. (not making a pass until clear of the caution) oh wait winning means more than anything right? I can feel the pain in my knee's for Ken, looks like he hyperextended the left knee on landing. I messed up my knees for life on both BMX and Motocross. Bad thing is, they never fully heal, they can heal "enough" but never the same.

surprised nothing came of Deegan riding the wrong way on the track. at the 3:19 time mark, Deegan has an issue with rear end spinning, he goes over the tough block into the center section then over the other tough block onto the opposite side into the landing area of the finish line. he jumps back over into the correct side but this has been historically a penalty at least.

Kenny Roczen is one of if not the fastest guy on a dirtbike ever !! The suspension manufacturers and bike manufacturers should consider altering amd using the data acquisition software coming off the bikes suspension and when a shock like blows like in this example the software could potentially reduce the bikes throttle and apply some breaking so injuries like this may be possibly prevented right. The technology is there to easily do Thia and we know they are already monitoring and logging the bikes bc various systems. Anyway I'm into robotics and autopilot control systems and watching Kenny go over the bars and get hurt when a shock breaks like this makes me want to invent such a system or at least share the concept. If anyone is interested let me know. It would not be hard to do and I think it's the future of the all modern electronic control systems. J

Praying for Marchbanks and Roczen. Those were some career ending crashes. The announcers weren't talking about the Marchbanks crash or giving updates, meaning it was BAD. Announcers typically dont give updates when theres no good news. And then Roczen, it may not look bad, but his legs are going to be in bad shape. He might not race this season or forever
