Tomac showed a perfect example how osbourne should have passed savatgy when he passed dungey on the same corner.. just push him up higher with very minimal contact and not colliding into someone

It blows my mind that Ralph Sheheen, Emig, and Carmichael had no idea what Tomac was doing during this race. Tomac completely controlled this race by slowing down the entire field of riders so that he would have a chance of making Dungey finish 5th while he won. It almost worked if not for Anderson taking Reed out on the last lap. Smartest thing Tomac could have done to win the championship. Ralph, Emig, Carmichael had no clue.

Anybody remember back in 09, I believe, when they let four or five of the top riders design a track for that season? They need to do that again, I think it’d be a really cool thing. Travis Pastrana actually designed St. Louis that year I think.

That's why I ware a front and back chest protector it has saved me several times. I smacked the face of a big double in the outdoors, and my handle barrs hit me so hard I crashed. It would have crushed my chest if I didn't have it on. Another time a pile up in the first turn and a foot peg went across my back and would have hurt me bad had I not had my chest protector on.

I think a second title for him is a very good probability. If he can get number two, I think that will confirm to a lot of people just how talented he is. I mean he has won one of the hardest titles in all of dirt bike racing and he still seems to get overlooked each year. Just goes to show how deep the field of possible champions is in the sport right now. Definitely a fun time to be a motocross/supercross fan.

In the 250cc class, I could not believe Savatgy tipped over the way he did. He was two turns away from making me look like a genius because he was my pick for the 250cc East Supercross title, and he just kept crashing. I fully admit that I have not seen wishy-washy riding like that since maybe James Stewart was a 125cc rookie in 2002. In the 450cc class, I was REALLY thinking this was one race that Chad Reed could have won, and if it wasn't for Jason Anderson's cheap shot, Reed WOULD have won this race. Then again, I scratched my head to why Chad went wide the way he did.

It could have something to do with Anderson not wanting Reed to pull anything dirty on Dungey. Reed purposely holding up Dungey as a lapper was still fresh in everyone's mind cause that potentially cost Dungey a win. I remember it not sitting well with everyone at the Baker's farm. Couple that with Reed passing him really close the turn before and Anderson only had one thing in mind in that next corner. I didn't feel bad for Reed though since he has always been willing to take someone out and because holding up someone as a lapper is disgraceful.
