@EarthSurferUSA Жыл бұрын
He has 15 championships to go in that traditional respect of how we measure "GOAT", (which many people have a hard time counting to 15). But in a way, Jett is already a GOAT. I don't count the couple SMX races and they won't historically count if history repeats itself with FIM SX world championships of the past,--all failed. So for the races that count, from the 2023 MXofN to today, Jett, as a rookie on a 450, has won ever 450 race he has entered, 27 races in a row now. If a rookie can be the a GOAT, Jett is now a GOAT.

Friese was involved/caused 3 incidents. He cut down on Hunter way early in the first corner of the heat. Then he was involved in the Stewart/Roczen crash, and then took out Dean Wilson. He's a great starter and is often in the position to really ruin a good race. Seeing his cheap move taking out christian craig a couple years ago told me everything I need to know about him.

He got the holeshot and by lap 2 was back in 7th place. He took out a top guy with that crash. By taking out Roczen and Malcom in the main that absolutely changed the outcome of the race.

@@EarthSurferUSA what's with turning this into a "kids these days" lecture? You can take your misplaced boomer logic somewhere else. Friese wasn't just existing, he is a hazard, plain and simple. He caused a massive pileup in Hunter's heat, causing him to completely miss the main event, and then took out Roczen and Stewart, two of the top contenders, in the first lap of the main, only for him to THEN take out Dean Lewis and himself not even a lap later in a stupid attempt at a 1st lap block pass, and then just walks off the track leaving Dean stuck on his bike (watch it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpvEmq2nid9smck). And he does all that just to place last! Don't be saying it "probably didn't happen anyway" because you can literally see it all in the videos. And this is all within the first round! This is hardly the first time he's caused issues either. Drama like this follows him everywhere he goes. The man just has no awareness and/or doesn't care about the others on the track. How is it that both tangles and crashes Frise was involved? First hunter then Malcom got messed up because this dude? SMH

Malcom went into friese in the main to be fair, however he did take hunters front wheel off

To be fair Hunter got pinched.Not Friese's fault (...this time😄)

@@ronchappel4812 I saw an interview with deano and vince collected him in the main after the Malcom incident and that took Vince out.

I'm confused, or maybe I missed it, but does Stewart completely ignore Anderson's ride? Bring back Emig! He was the best commentator in SX and MX.

I agree that Freise is overly aggressive at times however, he had the wheel going into the corner and it was up to Hunter to check up sooner. As for the Main start, I don't see how Freise had any responsibilty for Roczen behind him.

I say people picking on Vince have a bully complex. Probably from getting picked on themselves by bullies,---as if it is their turn to bully somebody. I am a great great nephew of Sigmund Freud, from a Polish segment of the family. :)

He crashed Karnow also. So A1 Vice was involved in a crash with 1) Hunter 2) Roczen 3) Stewart 4) Wilson 5) Karnow

Damn malcom, roczen and cianciarulo must be frustrated as hell. Expected better from Prado as well to be fair

i think you can look at a 13th place finish and say that, but if you look at who he actually finished behind, that goes lawrence, anderson, plessinger, sexton, ferrandis, webb, barcia, cooper, tomac, roczen, stewart, cianciarulo. is there anyone here who, considering their experience and his lack thereof, we would really *expect* him to beat? not in my opinion. you could maybe argue like, cooper or stewart but those guys still have years of experience racing supercross - veterans. supercross is a very different beast from motocross, and i think this performance would be right about what i would expect and any better would be overperformance

Let's state the obvious. Jett is on another level. This "stacked field" or "big name" group of riders are well past their peak racing age, except Sexton. If you want a challenger, you should be looking at some up and coming teenagers. This might get ugly, unless you are an Aussie or a Honda lover...
@EarthSurferUSA Жыл бұрын
Not an Aussie or Honda lover. I just love seeing individual greatness. If you notice, the tracks are designed to keep everybody the same speed as much as possible, (so we say the field is stacked), but Jett is showing the FIM/AMA/World that an individual can still be great. I promise you, the FIM are in meetings right now, trying to figure out how to stop him.

I'm calling it- Jett will go undefeated in SX this year.

Won't happen. This ain't outdoors. He's winning the chip without a doubt. But he won't sweep. Just not possible

Calling it, E-lie Stan’s will accuse the entire sport of ped use, because they can’t grasp the fact E-lie is a bin man.
@marcusaurelius4360 Жыл бұрын
Bold call. Listening to Jett, he doesn't even think he'll do that. I don't think he will either. Webb pipped him in the heats and had the pace to keep him at bay. I'm Aussie so I'm 100% behind Jett and I'd love to see him sweep it, I just think it's very unlikely.
@ronchappel4812 Жыл бұрын
Could be. Much tougher to achieve than outdoors though!

He deserves to be a racer(he is qualifying), more than the sport deserves you as a spectator. Leave him alone. You guys are the bullies.
