Rational Numbers : any number that can be written as a fraction or ratio. Integers: no fractions or decimals, includes negative numbers

You are a great teacher...one reason being, you bring back the "R U L E S"; which unfortunately is not the case with a lot of teachers! That is the missing key! Most teachers are more concerned with quickly getting the answer and showing "shortcuts" which is fine...but the student has to master the rules and understand long ways BEFORE all of the quick shortcuts. I would tend to bet the reason more students are frustrated with math is somewhere along the way they did not master the rules of application. Thank you for not being one of those teachers!
