Hyperia looks like SO much fun! I'm still too nervous to try something of this size (right now; maybe I will in a few years). My first coaster was actually this year on Guardians at EPCOT, and I was so scared but it was so fun. I can't wait to build up my coaster riding ability so I can tackle rides like this in the future as I (hopefully) travel the world! Thorpe is one of my top go-to's because I absolutely love horror stuff and seeing all of the spooky themed coasters just heightened my excitement of possibly going one day. Thanks so much for taking us along today on your adventures, it was truly a treat to watch! Sending good vibes from (surprisingly sunny) Indianapolis!

Love Sam's summary of Ghost Train; we went a couple of weeks ago and also struggled to fully understand the dead/undead bit...why make us go back on the train!? The actors we had though sounded better, although the vibe was a bit ruined when we walked past the undead spirit chilling by the train exit 👻

I'm really liking that Hyperia is NOT the whole disaster / post-apocalyptic theme going on in most of the rest of the park! Something empowering and uplifting makes a lovely change. New Orleans? hmmm yes definitely. convinced by that theming, totally. Has Sam done a video on the history of X: No Way Out and its various versions? One time I rode it and someone had left the maintenance doors wide open, plenty of bright sunshine lighting up the tracks! Like Space Mountain with the work lights on, far less intimidating when it's not pitch black!

I agree! It’s uplifting and pretty and feminine and that was needed in this park! He hasn’t done x yet but he says he has it in the works!

Wow, I think that parks here in the USA should post that same sort of sensory/accessibility info. like that! You two are much braver than I am...even me as a non-drinker would need a drink for that ride ha ha! Or to be already deceased and then you could put me on those rides all you want! Crazy. I was thinking the same, like it's such an easy thing to do that would make so many people's lives easier!! People could see what they were going to experience and make informed decisions, and the staff would have less questions or issues too. Such a simple thing to implement that would make such a big difference. I know some US parks do it like Peppa Pig theme park, but really all parks should nowadays.

😮 oh my gosh 😮 no way could i ever, nor ever have been able to ride those kind of Rollercoasters 😮 I stick with small kid coasters😅 seriously though my health issues won't let me ride big coasters. I think Hyperia might be once and done for me, same as Saw that thing looks insane whizzing around in your outro. I get severe headaches riding coasters in the UK but never in US, Weird. The Stealth photo was hilarious woth that added scream😂 BPB this trip?

75 mins.... i went two weeks ago and the queue was over 3 hours on a weekday and had to buy fast track and that was still an hour wait but what a ride!

Oh wowy!! We lucked out and went on a low crowd day. But fast track saved us an hour. Worth it!

Stealth is just like Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. Sadly, they no long have that coaster. Well, they renamed it to Top Thrill 2 but it was open like 1 day this year & then they closed it.

We didn't even get to ride Top Thrill 2 for the little time it was open, we had hoped to go this year but now who knows when it will reopen! Hopefully next season, I love Cedar Point!

Sam has been visiting these parks since he was a kid (he mentioned something about it in this vid in the beginning, dunno if you caught it, about the slide that used to be there when he was a kid)! He started his channel, Expedition Theme Park, based on his lifelong love and passion for theme parks! We spent the trip with his family which is huge and very close :) He has amazing siblings and their spouses too, and his parents are just the best, I adore them all! He's very blessed and so am I to be part of the family now too :)

I thought the couple you seemed to be walking with both looked a bit like Sam! 😎 I too was lucky🍀 There were six of us who traveled together. My husband’s brother--a retired urologist and his wife. @@Coastermatics I associate hang time more like what I felt on Copperhead Strike, this didn't feel like that at all, it was more like I flew up like airtime feels. I know there are very specific terms for these things, so maybe there's a better term for it than airtime, but that's what it felt like to me. Like flying up, almost ejector, but more floating?
