I think the new movie kind of explains why you may see the hatbox ghost prior to Leota on the ride. I loved the movie. It’s like an addition to all the ghosts story arc. I wouldn’t mind them making another movie and delving into a different ghosts story. Let us know what you think once you see it!

Thanks for getting us in the Halloween spirit! Almost makes me feel cooler for a few seconds when I think about it. 😂🎃 I know Disney is trying to cut costs but they really could have shoehorned the Hatbox Ghost later in the ride somewhere by shifting a couple things around or taking out some less important theming. In the end not a big deal and I’ll take it where they are planning.

I love Halloween at Disney World. It's definitely one of my favorites. The food looks great. The rain is a bummer but a rainy day at Disney World is still better than a day in an office cubicle. We love following your adventures.

Great video Jackie!! Loved it!! The Emporium store was really cool, and I loved the window displays! It looked sooo cute!! I love the Haunted Mansion!! It’s so cool inside with all the animal Tronics and all the decor! That will be interesting for the change that they’re doing that might look really cool though!! The haunted mansion is awesome!! I can’t believe more people are not talking about the Hatbox ghost placement AFTER they see the movie. I to was not happy about it until I saw the movie. It all makes complete sense and I can’t wait to experience the ride once he is added. The movie was excellent and so many Easter eggs. I probably missed a ton too.

🎃 Happy soon to be Halloween 🎃 Disney World Halloween decorations are always awesome😲😀 Love 🎃 Thanks for all your updates and trying to stay enthusiastic during storms and all you give us. We are grateful. I always wanted to go to Disney World at Halloween time, someday in future I will. For now, summer is the time we can go, once every 2 years. Also, I'd rather be at a Disney park during a rain storm, than stuck at home or at a resort room. Plus, I cannot wait to see what Tiana's ride will look like, hoping it will be done and ready to ride next summer when we go. Also, I'm goid with whatever ghost they put in Haunted Mansion ride, as long as they keep Madam Leota, she's one of the main highlights of the ride and story, and of course the Bride to. I saw the new Haunted Mansion movie this past weekend and enjoyed it a lot. I'd say it has a little bit of a more serious tone, as it deals with personal loss, but it still has a lot of fun moments, too. I look forward to binge-watching the Eddie Murphy version, the Muppet version, and this one on Disney+ (hopefully, they will release it on Disney+ in time for Halloween).

The Columbia Harbor House chairs upstairs were built in Tell City Indiana at Tell City Chair company which is no longer in operation. The avac trash receptacle in Columbia Harbor House has a upstairs receptacle that is connected to a ground level receptacle. The only one in the Magic Kingdom with that design. I was in the Walt Disney World College Program January to May 1991.

I was about 9 the first time I rode it - long hair full of knots - in the stretching room the lights went out and all of a sudden a hand is going into my hair and pulling - Let's just say I screamed soooo loud. Turns out is was a toddler in his parents arms and was just doing the toddler thing but to me at that moment - I was terrified. It was a bit before I went into the ride again.

I would like to start with saying that you can send me your rain, I live in Fort Worth, Texas and we haven’t had any good rain since May. We have so many wildfires going on around here it’s crazy. My kids are obsessed with MyRadar! We used to eat at the Harbor House quite a bit; we would order clam chowder when they used to serve it in a bread bowl. It was our "secret" inexpensive meal for MK vists.
