Join me for an incredible day at Disney's Hollywood Studios with ultra low crowds, low waits, SO MANY RIDES & updates! Finally riding Rise of the Resistance again and I show you how you can get a boarding pass late in the afternoon, after the 1pm boarding group drop, seeing the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage again since its reopening ! Visiting the Tune In Lounge on it's REOPENING DAY - this lounge, affectionately called Dad's Liquor Cabinet, is connected to 50s Prime Time Cafe, and I tried one of their specialty cocktails. I also show you and try one of the NEW dishes at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo that was such a surprise hit, a home run! Disney's Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage also reopened this week and we start the day with a grade A performance with such an amazing cast, then ride some of the best rides at Hollywood Studios including Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway! We have a beautiful day and sunset in Galaxy's Edge and exit through Toy Story Land with cotton candy pink skies! Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage is the longest running stage show at any Disney park and not even a pandemic can stop it... as someone who had the opportunity to see Beauty and the Beast when it was on Broadway in 2007 before it ended, this is the closest thing to it. With an incredible soundtrack, actors, and emotional storyline, it's no wonder the show's a hit

On my first ever ride of ROTR half of the sound and effects weren’t working. I wasn’t even 100% certain things weren’t working right until i got to the scene where Kylo and General Hux are standing up on that platform and he whips around. We sat there for probably ten seconds before either one of the animatronics say anything and neither one moved. The part after the drop where you land on earth our screen didn’t properly match up to the car so it was like a good foot above our immediate field of vision. It was kind of cool to see things not working that bad! Plus we got fast passes to go on for a second time once the ride was fixed which thankfully was in only thirty minutes! Now I have a fun story to tell too!

I went to Disneyland last Wednesday and while I was there, I had a Ronto Wrap for the first time. It was good. Also, it is amazing to see that Hollywood Studios has a stage production of a classic animated movie, just like Disney California Adventure.

Starbucks pumpkin drinks started today, yay. Literally a pumpkin spice Frappuccino is my favorite thing from Starbucks followed closely by the chestnut praline Frappuccino which comes with their winter drinks.

My niece and I missed this show. Beauty and the Beast. At 2:00 there was a line and she didn't want to stand and wait. At 6:00 was no line but about 10 minutes it started raining. I can't wait to go to Hollywood Studios next year.

I listened to a podcast history of development of DHS. Just like Steven Spielberg for Universal, Disney tried to have Mel Brooks on the studio there and advising and creating attractions. The lobby furniture as for something else originally -- and Tower of Terror was earlier planned on being Young Frankenstein(!) They slowly moved Mel out; did not want to deal with his micromanaging; and picked an IP where the creator (Rod Serling) was dead.

I think Covid is so bad in Orlando, and Florida could play a role in the low attendance. We are actually worried as we are planning to be there in December and hope we don't have to punt another date. Everything has been prepaid for our trip. As last year covid got real bad in the fall and winter, and we've blown past those numbers now in August. Fingers crossed. We went to Disney last year at the same time and trusted Disney to do the right thing and make decisions that put guest health and safety first. On the other hand, Universal was a horrible experience concerning covid and won't be back there this year.

its the same as fast pass system- except you pay $15 for it. The only "good" thing about it is that now you can only make the reservations that morning versus 90 days out- which makes it more fair

Actually rise of the resistance is getting a stand by line now. Yeah I’m not kidding it’s been open once after 6 pm. The crowds have been that low. Literally you can now stand in line now for that ride. You might not need a boarding group anymore.
