Scott, Mitch and Kirstie actually have been friends since they were 10 yrs old. They went through school together and were 19 when they won the Sing Off. So yeah, they've been doing this a very long time together, have been very good friends together, grown up together and have incredible chemistry which makes Pentatonix work very well.

Scot, Mitch, and Kirstin are all 30 years old now. Kirstin gave birth on June 28 to her first child, Elliana Violet, Evie for short. Mother and daughter are both doing well.

Scott and Mitch met at a musical theater group, at age 10. Kirsty met Mitch in Jr. High and they dated for a little while. In High School she dated Scott for a while. They knew it wasn't going to be anymore than a deep friendship between the 3 of them. Before this skit they had been tasting libations during the day.

I think Mitch and Scott also dated at one point but they probably weren't as open about that during the Sing-Off because the show didn't even let them talk about picking the Trevor Project as their charity for one of the weeks.

I believe they are 30 now. Scott and Mitch met when they were 10 and played in a community theatre version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They met Kirstie in high school.

I can neither confirm nor deny that there may or may not have been liquor involved in the making of this video. That last scene with the 3 of them apparently goes back to an old game they used to play about "who can sing the worst?" Pentatonix has done a "serious" version of Let It Go on their That's Christmas To Me album, with Mitch and Kirstin switching off on the lead. There's no official video for it, just a "Yule Log" video with the audio track. It's kind of fun to listen to, as Mitch seems to try to make his voice sound even more like Kirstin than usual (changes his vibrato to more closely match hers), and they switch off the lead in kind of unusual places, so it can be a little difficult to tell who's actually singing the lead.

Actually Mitch and Kirstin have been friends since they were 8 years old. They met Scott when they all were 14. In high school they started a singing group call "The Trio". They've said they have childhood memories of Kirsty's mother driving them around in the back seat of her car. Also, people are forever saying that Disney should hire Kirsten. She would do great ! Have you seen the video where she sings Disney love songs with her ex fiance ?

They have been wonderful friends and played together since childhood. They truly love each other.. and started as PTX in 2011, adding Avi and Kevin and are now 30 years old.

At the end of the Sing Off in 2012, Sara Barellis noted that Scott, Kirstie and Mitch were all 19. Scott had finished his first year at USC studying vocal performance, Kirstie finished her first year at OU in a theatre program. Mitch skipped his HS graduation ceremony to join the group for the Sing Off. I believe he was also 19 at the end of that show. If i remember the lore correctly, Mitch and Scott met at community musical performances in their early teens, Kirstie met Scott at a different performance around the same time, but didn't meet Mitch until they were all in HS together.

Mitch said that he and Kirsty dated some, before he really figured it all out. There are a couple of KZbin videos of them singing Lady Gaga's "Telephone". The first was at one of their home's. The second was a much better performance, they sang the song during their hs choir's spring concert. This particular video went somewhat viral, it was seen both by Avi and Kevin and was helpful in their decision to join the three in the "Sing Off".

If someone hasn’t already said there is a video of “the trio” singing Lady Gaga’s Telephone at a school assembly. They were all in the same high school chorus/choir group. Their harmonies are like family harmonies because they have literally grown up together. Kristie just had her 1st baby and they are all on tour.

I love this video so much. Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin are so great together! Check out their La La Land video. Kirstin and Mitch have Disney Princess voices, and should totally be used in a movie someday 😩❤️ I also hope you two get to Superfruit’s actual music from their Future Friends album. Kirstie absolutely needs to be a Disney princess! IMO you can binge the vlog on your own, just leave the music episodes. There is also one with Tori Kelly that seems like it will be a vlog, but will be a music thing, so you should react to that instead of watching it on your own (preferably). :)

Then there is the truly awesome version of 'Rise' (Katy Perry) that they do with 3 other friends. That one is a tribute to the Pulse massacre in Florida.

Ok, so ptx trio history. Mitch and Kirstie met at age 8 (I think... and some old bickering about how they didn't like each other at first because "Mitch tapped my hairballs" as Kirstie so wonderfully put it.) Mitch and Scott met doing community theatre at age 10. Scott and Kirstie met at 14 in high school when they had classes together (they are 1 year older than Mitch). Fun fact, Kirstie has dated both Scott and Mitch (before they came out ofc) and Mitch and Scott had a 2 week period of dating during high school as well, haha. They have HISTORY for sure. They are all over 30 now so have known each other for ages by now.
