Supergiant Games and Vanillaware (in Japan) are my heroes because they always remind me to stick to what you're good at and what you love, even if it's a niche because at the end, it needs just ONE idea that will make your niche a massive success. Vanillaware, founded by George Kamitani, had big failures in his career and went nearly bankrupt. But at his and his very small team's lowest, they made Odin Sphere and that pathed them the way as one of the leading 2D game producers with breathtaking, hand drawn graphics, ethereal music and beautiful storytelling. These two studios' stories are so inspirational to me.

If you want some estimates, this is (off the top of my head) what the Hades1 Early Access Steam Launch didn't have yet, that was added either during EA or at 1.0.: >Demeter (+ Boons) >Fishing >Hades 3rd Phase Heat Option >anything to do with Persephone and the 10runs you need to complete to see the credits >some Mirror Upgrades >the Gun Weapon >Duo Boons (i think) >post credits storylines for each character >Charons Optional Boss Fight >more Customization Options >some Weapons Aspects >Achievements >MANY bug fixes and balances changes that should give you an idea of how much there still was to see back in the original Hades, and I'm assuming it will be a comparable amount of new stuff for Hades 2 as well.
@Bruno-cb5gk8 ай бұрын
@@PKMono Way more than that iirc, wasn't Elysium not in the initial EA release?

@Bruno-cb5gk It was in the Steam Early Access Release that came 1 year after the Epic Games Early Access. And they said that the current Hades2 Build is closer to how complete Hades1 was at the Steam release. Also I remembered, different boss variations also got added later.
@pedroscoponi49058 ай бұрын
Hades 2 still doesn't have Secret Aspects, at least 1 more surface floor (probably 2?), rewards for maxing out relationships (since you can't yet!), Extreme Measures versions of bosses, Hard mode from fresh file, 1 more weapon they're already working on, decoration options for The Crossroads... not to mention all the story, game balance, and whatever other gods or boons they're planning to include. And that's all the stuff that either was in the original or is already explicitly in development. Only the Gods know what they're cooking in secret for way down the line.
