She is totally not herself with Kara I agree. She hated fighting with her and only got tough because she wanted it to be a wake up call. The only reason Kara embraces her alter ego again was for Lena. The show never discussed it, but not James or Alex could get her to be Kara again, but Lena did. Her fight with Kara opened up Kara's eyes and she embraces it again.

I honestly loved Psi as the villain in this episode (Yael Groblas from Jane the Virgin). What she did to Kara made her see that she’s more human than she is, and showed her not to block off her human emotions. It sucks that the rumors about Sanvers were practically confirmed in this episode. Lena bringing down the hammer on Kara when she was slacking at work was so satisfying. It was honestly needed because that brought Kara back down to Earth, showing that just because she’s a Superhero, doesn’t mean she should slack off at her job. And the fact that they hugged afterwards was so cute. As soon as Samantha/Regin walked in immediately thought #SuperReignCorp. Alex brought back the “I can hurt you six different ways with my index finger” stare to get Winn to talk and I honestly loved it so much. Also doing that little butt scoot to hug Kara was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. And them watching The Wizard of Oz together, my heart couldn’t handle it.

the one part of the sanvers storyline that was well thought was the break up. the rushed proposal is the real problem not just fighting over kids. literally every fight,argument,angst with sanvers all leads back to the question "is it too soon?"

It is indeed "Fuck The CW." Because they give us all the baiting and all the potential for some of the most beautiful stories only to screw over the actual good ones for white heteronormative bullshit. Like yes we absolutely would love Sanvers and Supercorp as the main romances on this show, respectful beautiful relationships that also prioritise the importance of the Danvers sisters relationship, but we'll never get it. I was so happy then so devastated to see that opening scene, knowing they're being taken from us so soon. Because indeed, if Maggie was sticking around and Sanvers was staying (Flo is looking elsewhere likely because she got so little screen time last season) then this season so far would be perfect. Go figure all it took was one character not being here and suddenly everyone was getting decent screen time and story lines and all the important relationships, platonic, familial and romantic, were getting treated well... Hope his time back with his wife is minimal, the show and characters have benefited SO MUCH from his absence.

I love your reactions, you are one of my faves but I'm going to be very honest here because I'm getting tired of every reaction having the "It's Flo fault for leaving". If you choose to believe the spoilers you can't only believe a part of it. The ones releasing the spoilers stated she want her character to be more integrated on the plot and more than the 2 min per episode and they said no. THE PRODUCERS ARE TO BLAME. And not only for that, why doesn't anyone of you that actually has a platform calls out on the lies the producers have been feeding us since SDCC2017? They were already filming S3 when the producers said at the panel "we are devote forever to sanvers", it's on youtube go see. And go and see all the interviews they did then and also the written ones where they say they have a "Modern, smart, beautiful story that honours the love of this 2 women", "that will be staisfying for the fans". Where is any of that?! Or Berlanti interview to TV Line if I'm not mistaken, saying that you will hardly notice the difference between Maggie presence in S2 or S3?! What about the disgusting behaviour of Kreisberg that wanted to included something in last years crossover where Sara would flirt with kara and Kara would say "You should meet my sister", they cut it out (admited by him in an interview). Sanvers had just got together at that point, and surprise 1 year later he hooks them up. His wet dream is finally complete. In November, just in time for TV sweeps. I remember Chyler saying she wanted to do Sanvers justice not to use it for a ratings ploy, what is Kreisberg doing with the hook up if not using the lesbians for a ratings ploy. How much have we said that we are more than that. So why no one of the reactors calls out this behaviour and the lies that led to give hope to people by the actual culprits, the producers? They actually got what they wanted to push all the guilt to the actress so that people would leave them alone. Besides even if they really had to write her out this story is crap and doesn't honour their love, they are only destroying everything they built in the past season and erase it.
