Because Lena doesn't actually love many people...so her world is the people she loves...and that's what drives her she knows it....that's why she doesn't let people in....she is scared to love and find out she is not loved back...so it's hard for her not to be selfish in a way...she is still processing Kara's choice to protect her and now she is remebering Kara saving her...not Supergirl....so obviously her first reaction will be to save Kara....because now she is fully processing everything...however they want to portray it....Kara and Lena do love each other....whichever way the cw will go....that's the fact there are deep feelings between them...platonic or not.

The acting choices Katy made fall in line with the rumors that she was told Supercorp was happening this season. The emotions she added to her dialog were what romantic interests do. She seemed to channel her inner Erica Durance during similar scenes. Lois said something similar to Tess about closing the phantom zone gate and then pulled a gun on Tess. See I think Katy really thought this was happening, so she did her job, set it up for Kara's return and their romance before the end. Only to find out it was all baiting

This reaction is definitely one of my all time favorites now. 😆 I think I may watch this episode over again a few more times for the Alex and Lena scenes. They just...it was nice to finally have Alex have some real moments and conversations with Lena. It helped solidify that they're might actually be friends. A hug after that last conversation would have made me happier but 🤷‍♀️ In regards to Alex taking the device forcefully from Lena, I think it was because she knew that Lena would choose Kara over the city or world and couldn't let her do that knowing what Kara would have wanted them to do. It really has been amazing watching Nia/Dreamer grow into her abilities. I hope going into the past with Brainy on this mission will help her build up some confidence in her ability to interpret her dreams. I can't wait to see how the Super friends will also incorporate Kelly/Guardian into the group down the line. While there was no Lex, I'm kinda curious to see what Lena might do outside of the Super friends for work or when she isn't actively helping the team. I'm really happy that the writers are doing well so far, but much like how I felt watching Nxly, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. So, I'm also sad that that is how previous seasons seem to have conditioned me. If we're still doing great into the second half of the season this could be my favorite season of the series.

I think the filming took place after Melissa had her son, the filming from S5 stopped due to covid and it only started again in the end of 2020 I think. If I remember correctly Melissa came back shooting a litte later than the others.

Yes, if it came down to choosing between Kara and everyone else, Kara would have wanted them to save everyone else. She's okay with herself dying. But if Kara had to choose between Lena and everyone else, she would choose Lena. We've already seen that happen when she had to choose between the chemicals and Lena on the plane. AND when the Daxamites kidnapped Lena, and Cat gave Kara a pep talk on human connection and told Kara that "saving someone you love isn't selfish, it's everything." Kara would have chosen Lena over others. And Lena feels mutually that she would choose Kara over everyone else. When Lena was discussing this with Alex, I could see her whole world just crumbling at the thought of Kara dying. MAKE SUPERCORP CANON.

Princess Nyx is a complicated Comic character. Not a lot was written about her in the comics and mostly used for the Superman comics. But she´s very dramatic, can be super jealous and dangerous, but she´s not entirely evil. Something is also wrong with Zor-EL. I have a feeling about Kara´s father he´s also not telling the truth (He must have known that Mrs. Myx hit him.) Mr Myx will have a big part in future episodes in Mrs Nyx's storyline. I think Myx trapped her in the phantom zone because she´s jealous of something that happened between them in the past. Mrs Nyx's line in this ep. (Kara Honey...and the space pod...) was just to make Kara feel like a little helpless girl. Stupid, hurt and fell pain and anger against her father. Princess Nyx is going to cause real problems on earth if she gets free using Magic against Kara. And one of her speciality is playing with Love spells because she´s a very romantic crazy Imp. She´s a little bit like Jessica Rabbit in the comics.

I just hope Lena realises that her decision doesnt mean she doesnt care or isnt a good person. She obviously cares about others, but she has the guilt, on top of her feelings for Kara so of course she wont think straight and will want to do anything to save her, I mean its not the first time she would have done that either, she saved Supergirl many times without even knowing it was Kara so this is a lot. I think that Alex very much understood where she was coming from and Im so happy she told Lena to not dare to think she doesnt belong or that shes not a hero. Lena needed to hear that cuz wanting to save someone you love doesnt mean you are bad. I think that if they didnt have to hurry and Alex couldve waited before taking the machine from her, she would have admitted that Alex was right already then and there cuz she knew deep down Alex was right already then, it was just hard to come to terms with it right away because she so much wanted to bring her back and she was so excited too. Okay the parallel between this conversation on a balcony between Lena and Alex is almost similar to the one Kara and Clark had on the balcony. About scarifying the city versus saving someone you love. Like dafuq! The friendships developing and being explored more are so lovely. Alex and Lena working together feels natural now. Oddly, movies act like there is DNA in hair all the time, but there is not. There can be in the follicle if it is quite recently shed. Although, I don't think they actually cared about that. I think they just wanted the past ep. Maybe they decided like kryptonians don't shed hair.

Melissa being on maternity leave allowed us to get a Chyler we haven't been blessed with since season 1 and 4. For whatever reason they pulled her away from the intense emotional scenes that she was very frequent in during season 1. Chyler and Katie kept this season together.
