It's one of my favorite promo's for Supergirl series. While Teri Hatcher played Queen Rhea of Daxam, Mon El's mother in the second part of the second season. Laura Benanti played Kara's mother in season 1 and briefly in season 2, then Erica Durance who played Smallville's Lois Lane also played Kara's mother in season 3 and the Crisis Crossover. Neither were in this ad. This ad was to promote the release of Wonder Woman in theatres. It was plenty to get the actors featured to get CW viewers to see the new movie since WB wasn't doing enough to promote the film at the time.

So let's just say that the cinematic universe is Earth 37 or 39, as Supergirl's Earth is Earth 38. I'd like to believe in a cosmic spectrum. The more similar the Earth, the closer they are together on said spectrum, like Earth 1 and Earth 2. So if Supergirl wears the same boots as wonder woman in the cinematic Earth, maybe it's from a similar version of wonder woman that lives on Earth 38. Just like how Superman on Earth 38 kinda resembles Henry Cavill's superman design from Man of Steel.

Flash wasn’t as much liked before the tv show, everyone thought Superman was better than Supergirl but it was the opposite, and Arrow was never famous. They tried to stay away from Batman even and barely has Superman, most of the time they just mention him saying Kara is stronger than her more famous cousin. They replaced Batman with Batgirl.
