To be fair, since Episode 8 already done so no doubt she will be in. Whether director decide to drag her story to 9 or have Kylo kill her off, that is questionable. Worst Disney can just Moff Tarkin her (even though still look fake) and have Kylo kill her begin of Episode 9 just to show how evil Kylo Ren is.

It could be easy to end the character if they already didn't have the plans to do so. Just add a scene that she left on a ship. They could nicely write her off that way or have the ship explode or something while saving maybe Rey or whoever in a space chase. Personally, I would hope they have a Han Solo funeral. The following morning, she is gone, no one saw her leave, no one knows where she went. I hate the idea of killing off the character.

What I love so much about Heroes and Jedi Council especially is the unapologetic enthusiasm that the host and panel display when talking about their hardcorn passions. Just watching their face light up talking about a potential metal score for Thor gets me so pumped for films to come!

I'm hoping Thor Ragnarok is the sleeper comic book movie of the year. After rewatching the Avengers and Thor movies he comes off as sort of the most campy MCU character and I'm looking forward to him showing off his warrior side in Ragnarok. However it does seem like the movie might be packed with too many things going on to really have screen time for Thor to develop.

I'm only making a list for the major comic book movies coming out next year. 1. Logan: This movie looks so different from the typical superhero movies and looks like the tone will be different. This movie looks like it's gonna be a tear jerker since it's Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's last performances as these characters. If someone dies I might cry. The trailer was hands down the best of the year for me. And the fact that this is gonna be rated R makes it better since an R rating serves Wolverine best. 2. Guardians vol 2: This movie looks like it's gonna be just as fun if not more fun than the first one. And that's saying a lot. I love seeing the interactions within the team. Plus they got Kurt Russell playing a living planet. Who wouldn't want to see that? 3. Wonder Woman: Even though the DCEU films haven't exactly met expectations yet, this movie looks good. I really liked the first two trailers. I'm anticipating this movie so much anyway though because Wonder Woman aka the greatest and most iconic female hero of all time is getting her first film. This film is LONG overdue. 4. Thor Ragnarok: This could very well easily be the best movie in the Thor trilogy. The fact that the cast is amazing and that Hulk is tagging along gives this movie more credibility. It looks like it'll be big. 5. Spiderman Homecoming: I'm looking forward to this movie because we're finally gonna get a younger Peter Parker and I loved Tom Holland as Spidey in CW. But it's low on my list because I've seen Spiderman so many times already. I still think the movie will be good though. 6. Justice League: The fact that I have this movie last on my list really shows how bad of a spot DC is in with their movies. The beginning of last year, this would've been easily #1. But Snyder fucked up with BvS. It was all riding on that film. But since that film disappointed me and since I know that same guy is directing JL, my expectations have been lowered. Geoff Johns being appointed head of the DCEU and Affleck getting promoted to Exec Producer have given me a little more hope, but it'll still be Snyder's movie at the end of the day. That being said, I still want to see the movie. These characters have a special place in my heart. I want Justice League to be awesome. WB can't afford for it not to be.

FWIW its not just Geoff Johns overseeing DC Films. Jon Berg is also in charge of the DC movies. Which is why the only two producers outside of David Ayer & Margot Robbie on Gotham City Sirens are Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. My guess is Johns will help make sure the writing is in line with DC comics and Berg will make sure the movies turn out okay.

2017 is gonna be lit for comic book readers. Personally, I'm looking forward to the 3 MCU movies, Marvel's Netflix shows, AoS, Arrow, Kingsman 2, Outcast Season 2, and The Walking Dead is adapting the comic's March to War volume in Season 7B and All Out War in Season 8. I'm cautiously optimistic for Preacher, Legion, Inhumans Logan and the 2 DCEU movies. Here's hoping they're good.
