I always preferred Evolution Scarlet Witch. The Goth look was perfect for someone with that kind of power, the attitude of being distant was parallel to that of Quicksilvers invasion of everybodys space, and the fact that she was the polar opposite to her twin brother. Quicksilver was happy, cheerful, energetic and as stated, invaded people's personal space. While SW was more distant, angry, depressing and avoided most social contact.

Because both Wanda and Pietro were saved by Magneto they both felt honor bond to repay the debt. Magneto choose they join him as the way to repay that debt. During their time in the Brotherhood, they never did anything to harm anyone, just enough not to anger Magneto.

Wanda and Peitro were born in The High Evolutionary's castle in the Swiss Alps and their mother was a Roma. Her name was Magda. At the same time The Whizzer and his wife, Miss America (contemporaries of Cap and Bucky from WW2) were there to have their baby. Which also were twins. They however were deformed and died shortly after birth. Magda disappeared and Bova (a genetically evolved cow) delivered both sets of twins. Miss America also died from complications so Bova brought Wanda and Peitro to The Whizzer to pass them off as his children. In his grief at loosing his wife he ran off and Bova took them to the Gypsies and gave them to an older, childless couple... the Maximoffs. Whether or not, from the comics I read in the late 70's, early 80's, they ever found out WHO their father was. They did know who their mother was.

Other people than 'gay people' can make objective and evident descriptions if the evidently assumed 'sexy' and 'hot' are necessary, especiallly when there are plenty of sexy male bodied or gendered characters in the realm of comic books. My point of being is that unfortunately the assumed voice for all of us in this narration is the hetero male centric or heteronormative one. Oh right because the narrator isnt the main focus, we're not all interested in his name or where hes from, ( or her or whateever) Because these videos are huge convoltuted streams heavy of the gratuitous and pleasing top 10 ranking system, with popular culture at its core. But the pattern that is so obvious and gratuitous (even me commenting on it is gratuitous) is that it is always presented as a vital attribute- its pretty reductionist and simple with female character/hero description. If they were more comfortable highlighting male heroes in such a light I wouldnt have a problem.

It will be interesting to see which side she'll be on in 'Age of Ultron' I hope she does end up being good. I don't want it to be an 'X-men evolution' thing where she's an overall villain, or just some random enemy that the heroes have to fight off and send back to lock-up Maybe she'll start out evil due to HYDRA using the Chitauri scepter (which they showed in HYDRA's base at the end of 'Winter Soldier') to brainwash her into being one of their followers, same as how Loki used it to brainwash Hawkeye, Dr Selvig and several SHIELD agents into being his henchmen in the first Avengers movie
