For example, if a person who he loves get murdered, a hero would focus on the love for that person, but a villain would focus on the hate for his murderer.

Many heros are built upon revenge and hatred to see the villain stopped. Or what about a villain based on love? There has been many cases of this as well, where a villain's goal is to either help a loved one, or in more common tropes, resurrect them. I think if we are talking more fictional terms rather than realistic, the motives aren't the differential between a villain and a hero, rather more so the consequences, but this is a more utilitarian approach to the matter in which you may disagree on.
