I just realized something creepy… Mommy Long Legs is a spider based toy, and she only died after her abdomen was crushed. What important organs are stored in a spider’s abdomen? The heart and respiratory system. In other words, Mommy died from having her heart and lungs crushed to a pulp.

The part when she said "They called me mummy because I was the closest thing they ever had to one" really makes me think about how mummy long legs probably did care about children. She probably did care about the fact that she was a mother figure to these kids that don't have a mother or a lack of a mother leading her to try her best to entertain and care for these kids only to realize nobody "cares" for her as she states in further lines. I love mummy long legs cause her voice is so healing to my inner child.

Also really messed up when you think about the kids themselves; She says they all had no mother's so she probably dealt with the orphans who got in free basically, the orphans were probably the ones who had to do all the tests, the orphans either failed and got sent away or passed and got on the train to be taken deeper into the factory, and we can probably guess they didn't live much longer. She was right; No kid she interacted with ever came back, the lucky ones were probably thrown on the street, the others...

Here's my theory: A) I think "The Prototype" (Experiment 1006) was created some time between the creations of Candy Cat and Huggy Wuggy. Huggy is also called "Experiment 1170". That means that Huggy comes after the creation of Experiment 1006. Candy Cat likely came before, having been introduced to market in 1979. Huggy was 1984. B) Some time between 1979 and 1984, The Prototype was made. It adapts. It repurposes parts from other toys. And that hand that reached out for MLL was made of metal… There is one 1980s toy line that eerily comes to mind: Transformers. I think The Prototype is a Transformers-like toy, and is supposed to adapt and change, with an ability to swap out parts. (In a way, that might also be akin to Mr. Potato Head...) C) I think that type of toy, paired with the right human test subject, could be the perfect storm to create such a violent, resourceful, and "Decepticon-minded" toy. Making it out of sturdy metal was perhaps a terrible oversight... D) It would explain why they don't make another robot-type toy again until the creation of Boogie Bot, in 1993...

I really like MLL’s “monster form” or whatever it would be called. The animation for her was incredibly well done and she’s genuinely terrifying. Not just because of her appearance, but also her personality and how she was acting. I also kinda feel bad for her, despite her plans and actions she also a victim of the company.

Kissy doesn’t seem to have as much control over her body that the other toys have, especially compared to Huggy since their basically the same toy. I also don’t think she’s completely GOOD but more, neutral or even just confused. When she sees us she turns her head and even looks a little concerned for the player, she’s like a curious child.

I think it's because she was actually made from a child... And possibly a small one given how little control she has over her body and the way she walks. Huggy for example moves much more quickly and naturally. Makes me think he used to be an adult who worked at the factory (maybe a security guard). Despite the tape saying he is obedient, I'm not sure if that still is the case since his authority figures were probably the scientists testing him and they're long gone. If he still has some degree of intelligence, any adult in that situation would go mad eventually. Huggy and Poppy learned how to use their bodies so well because they are adults, motivated by revolt and sorrow, who had lives before as normal people but are now abominations, alone and stuck in that factory. Now Kissy Missy moves in the same clumsy way a toddler would. She never learned how move properly because children who are left alone for that long and have no stimuli end up becoming pretty much mentally disabled. She is still a confused child who one day woke up as a giant pink monkey and then everyone was gone

I still feel that Poppy's heart is in the right place. Sure, the way she went about it in the end was pretty wreckless, but you have to put into perspective that she's been trapped in a case for God knows how long. She must've gone crazy in there.

Then in the end of the game Poppy shared how she remembered the day of the Hour of Joy though locked up. She remembers the screams of the workers both guilty and innocent how the bodies were devoured.

*With each chapter, I'm getting more and more sure that the Prototype is Ludwig himself.* He lost his daughter so he decided to bring her back and immortalise her. He also lost his wife so he created Mommy to take care of Poppy. Maybe in his sick state of mind he also turned himself into a toy. Maybe he experimented on himself first so he can experiment on others later. It would make him the very first experiment of them all. But it's just my theory.

Man. The feeling of something that’s gonna pop out anywhere in the darkness to get you. It really gets me. When mommy long legs popped out from the darkness really got me and the cattipilar chasing us is scary all right. This game is really well made. It gave me tension and sense of dread. What genuinely disturbed me about this is basically how Mommy acts once she's angry. How her eyes become nearly black and she makes that disturbing groaning noise like she's in pain. Then, when she gets trapped in that machine and how blood spurts out, showing these 'toys' do bleed. The line 'HE'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM' sent shivers down my spine. Whatever 'him' is is probably grabbing toys that die and grabbing what's left of them, making himself stronger. The only thing that doesn't make sense with that is that smaller dead toys are lying around the factory, and they haven't been picked up. Did 'he' kill them? If not, who did? Also, after listening to that tape, it shows he has high levels of intelligence, so who was the soul that possessed the toy? A scientist?

If that prototype thing is the "assimilation" type of monster and assimilates all the other living toys you kill, you'd better be careful who you allow it to "assimilate" from now on. Depending on what it "takes" from its victims, abilities, knowledge, emotions, just giving it spider mom gives it super stretchiness, leadership charisma over other living toys, and bipolar, unstable emotions. Possibly also gives it temperature weaknesses.

I’ve realized that they have these children individually test them on their certain abilities and they keep this data as well. Since these toys are shown to have real blood and are actually alive it’s possible they are testing the children to see which ones are good candidates to turn into toy’s. What I’m also interested in is how the creator was experimenting with this poppy gel thing and how he wasn’t just experimenting on bringing the toys to life but specifically bringing the DEAD to life. Maybe he killed the children who were good candidates for the toy’s and brought them back using the same kind of poppy gel thing we saw.

Okay so here’s a crazy theory: What if the MC we play as, is one of the children who were tested on? He is considered “special” in poppy eyes, but what does it really mean? If anything it seems Play Co. were observing children for some time probably orphans hence why there’s a playcare. I think the MC was a orphan looked after Play Co. in his youth he would undergo his test but after reaching a certain age or adopted by another employee of Play co. they grew up and later would become an employee of the company. However they didn’t stop observing him. It’s possible since he did well in the test they gave him, they had a particular use for him later. This probably goes hand in hand with the theory that he souls of employees/children are in the toys.

@@pandamoon613UvU rewatching that play throughs of chapter 2 it appears the kids were actually Orphans as Mommy Long legs mentioned how she was the “closest” thing as a mother for the children. The kids would under go test and I guess whoever scored well would be applied to the “toy” listed in their file. I don’t think they made the kids into toys right away, but I think they would let them grow to be toys later.

@@PrincessAnime172 Just spitballing here, but it might also have something to do with Mommy Long-Legs' bitter statement that the MC deserves to die there more than anyone (4:15). Perhaps the MC wasn't _just_ an employee who worked at the factory (may or may not have been directly part of the inhumane toy experiments), but also may have been an orphan who was tested there. That _COULD_ explain Mommy Long-Legs' special resentment to the MC. It would be one thing if the MC was just another kid who forgot about her and left her behind (which she already hates), but to add insult to injury, the MC then grew up... only to then return to _work for the same company_ that tortured Mommy Long-Legs and the other toy test subjects. Suddenly, Mommy Long-Legs' dialogue at 4:15 isn't just her belief that MC must pay for his/her crimes against the subjects, but it's _also_ Mommy Long-Legs' rage at the betrayal of "I cared for you like my own child, yet you grew up as another monster helping to torture us in this hellish factory". Again, whether or not the MC actually was directly part of the toy experiments (like a scientist) or if the MC was just a grunt rank-and-file worker wouldn't matter too much in this theory.

She's very sweet, but also she gives a very.. " newborn " vibe, where she hasn't been around long enough to be corrupted with hatred like the other toys, she sort of stopped and did a double take look at the player, like- " oh, I can let you through, here (fumbles switch)... just.. be careful.. (walks away)" She will more than likely end up using herself to defend the player in some way, like clumsily pushing a button to open a door for us to escape through and away from the mechanical hand, so the hand grabs her instead. Also I've got a theory that Elliot Ludwigs tragic loss was his young daughter, Poppy Ludwig. His desire to bring his daughter back by infusing her body parts into a doll and thus creating " Poppy Playtime ", but once created through the Poppy juice experiments, her soul was corrupted, forcing Elliot to keep her confined to her glass case until he can find a " Perfect " solution.. just a theory.

And we did see a poster of mommy long legs and the “family” and in this photo we did see a male counter part to mommy long legs. Here's a theory: Poppy is Elliot's daughter. In the tape recording we saw in the previous video, Elliot lost a loved one, and when we saw poppy for the first time, she was in a glass case. Put the 2 together, and what we have is a father doing his best to protect his beloved daughter. Minor details such as the poppy doll itself and the area we start off in could be other factors.

Obviously this refers to the hand that took her, but I wonder if this prototype of Mommy is the husband or the child we see on the poster. Also, with that ending line from Poppy, I think we can guess that it wasn’t Poppy who sent the letter since she was surprised by him and was going to let him escape. Now I wonder who truly went it.

I was afraid that it would go wrong, there was a lot of pressure on them and the controversy about MOB games. But I think they did it right. Those animations are on a completely different level. Although I expected the end to tell us more about the story. But over all, there have been a lot of things that suggest how things are, like when Kissy Missy helped us. The scene itself was supposed to look like Huggy Wuggy had returned, and they did well. And finally, the hand that pulled Mommy Long's legs into that tunnel or whatever it was. I have even more questions than answers, but I don't care, in the end it all worked out. 🌸🌸

Mommy Long Legs ended up yelling, "You make me part of him! You can’t do this!" ,before she was shredded. The prototype or something else may build something with the "destroyed" toys. Apparently it's so terrifying that the other toys are afraid of it too Also, when Mommy Long Legs large sphere, representing her body is destroyed, she "dies" and bleeds. While her hands and feet, when shredded, don't bleed. It seems, if I understand the prototype tape correctly, that the toys (or atleast the Experiment) were „developing“ over time, with the prototype being one of the first to develop negative traits (being aggressive, violent,…). It does not mean that all experiments are likely to develop negative characteristics, but i could happen. „Suppressive treatments" were used to prevent these negative developments on other experiments. However, it looks like this has not always worked. Mommy Long Leg tells at the beginning of the 2nd game with the many Huggy Whuggys that these originals were tied to ropes so that they don't get too close to the children. We see what happens when they get too close to you.

the games are interesting, they feel like training sessions or something. fun-ish for children, but they're training dexterity, memory, and endurance. I think the theory they were experimenting on orphans is right, and furthermore, I think this was a them only area to deal with. normal kids on tours probably had a different but similar looking area. plus, why need a creature whose name is "mommy" Long Legs to take children to different areas if they're presumably with their parents, or give kids grab packs. plus, factories don't usually have play areas at all, even toy ones.

And In this video the end letter about mommy says that she’s “the only mother the children would ever know” Which makes it unlikely this is part of a normal tour for normal children. And it’s stated in the same letter she’s only calm around children and experiments, not adults. And the letter insinuates the children spend all day in the area, every day, which again means more than likely this isn’t part of the tour. There’s even a plea to add fake windows for their mental health.

One of the things i’m actually pretty impress, is the personality, animation, voice acting, and just genuinely emotions. Maybe after that he wanted to revive his family and started studying poppy due to him thinking it had life altering properties. While this game has had controversy, and I wasn’t anticipated or excited for this, I’m pleasantly surprised! The behind the scenes things kinda ruin it, but this chapter is way better than Chapter 1. It’s much longer, has more engaging gameplay, better graphics, less glitches, and a lot of open lore and questions. If I had to rate each chapter so far, I’d say Ch1 gets a 5/10, and Ch2 gets an 8/10. The best thing MOBGames fixed was the price feeling worth it, as this chapter is about a 1 hour 30 minute/2 hour game depending on skill, while chapter one had one section where you could die in and lasted 30 minutes. The price tag feels much better now than chapter 1 did.

38:21 instead of Kissy Missy, that has to be the prototype. She said that “She locked my in here” meaning that the prototype represents a female that makes alarm clock noises constantly. And that you’ll be alert of her once you hear it. I wasn’t paying attention to noises in the game but I remember seeing a comment that someone heard alarm clock noises when we saw Kissy Missy. So it could link up to Kissy being involved with the prototype or that they’re actually is them from both being feminine, but I highly doubt that. Just want to point some things out for your analysis of the chapter. The skeletal hands that are always present in the tapes concerning experiment 1006 is the same as the one who takes away the dead Mommy. So that hand is probably a part of experiment 1006, using parts from dead toys to probably add to its own body. The death screen messages are conversations to us about the prototype/experiment 1006 so we were probably a scientist involved in the toys’ creation. And Poppy’s voice Kinda seemed to change in mannerisms and tone. She sounded like she genuinely wanted to help at the beginning but became more lifeless when we save her. Maybe it’s a mind control due to connections with this experiment or her true self was pushed away by rage. Just some points to talk about.

A lot of elements of this feel similar to Portal. Even the little character that you think is your friend ends up betraying you once a common enemy is out of the way.
