The "device" in the room with Spooky's father is the kingdom era artifact, not the Hellgate. The Hellgate, is a Hellgate, the "device" is the seal. That's why turning off the "device"(seal) but not closing the hellgate causes demons to be released from the mansion

I honestly feel bad for Spooky. She may seem all cheery on the outside, but really, she has a tragic backstory. She died from her father being paranoid and she was then trapped in this mansion, not being able to return to the afterlife. Her dad just wanted to tell her goodbye, and that it was him who killed her (probably).

I think the doll monsters are just vengeful spirits, trapped within the dolls, and the doll you carry gained a spirit of it’s own after Spooky was in it, that fears it’s original spirit. The Clown would have a crazy, ridiculous backstory like being an elder god or the manifestation of fear itself, considering how it does literally nothing to you.

I wonder how long it’s been when Spooky became a ghost, since back from the gunshot. Maybe for a very long time cuz living in the Mansion, about her parents, the specimens, and the previous victims have entered the mansion way before the player(that’s us) have come to the challenge.

Don’t speak on behalf of people with PTSD. Because it’s a real thing you know. Soldiers snap if they’re PTSD is not treated. But you can honestly tell he didn’t mean to shoot. But I say the unforgivable thing was both blaming an innocent person for her death and trying to play god and revive his daughter.

I can't just understand this: is the karambi hospital the canon ending? like we fall and we don't die and turn into a ghost? because if we was a ghost then we couln't escape i just don't understand

I think the Karamari Hospital follows the "Becoming a ghost" ending of the main story line, but the ceiling doesn't fall on the main character, meaning he continues onwards
