Sometimes bees seem to completely ignore our new frames of fresh foundation, whether it's plastic or beeswax foundation. Here's a great tip to get them to draw out a new box faster!!

Great video! Concerning brushing off the bees--I understand brushing should be from frame bottom to frame top. It's supposed to make it less likely for bees' legs being damaged by being caught in the angled comb cells.

Haha! I’ve definitely had days like that too! I always wore a jacket and veil in Florida because of the Africanized bees that genetically mingled with ours🐝🐝

Haha. I question the same thing... Im like lemme try how the pros do it. Hell no they got me 6 times on the right hand. I was just changing sugar water too lol. After that I told myself never again and I will always wear one plus use smoke. I've learned it doesn't take much smoke at all just a little and they're good for the inspection. Then I use a little more so I don't crush any while putting the boxes back.. the bees are family I try not to kill my brother's and sisters lol
