We used these fittings for all tubing fittings in a refinery operation. Best there is.

You go-no go gauge is ingenious. One of my two first specialty tool sets were metric & SAE crows feet that few techs even own. Not only used for proper disassembly but add a short extension and a torque wrench, then you know if tight, almost tight or loose. This are specs shown in a service information and placed there for a reason. Without, you are just guessing. Fine, it doesn't leak in your repair bay but what about next week with 10 hrs of run time or 100 hrs of operation. It kills me to see the tech next to me add two drops of thread locker to crucial fasteners but never torque high pressure tube but fittings. I don't like doing the job half way or guessing. Great idea and required tool. I would create a flyer the is appropriate for the tube fitting and put it in the box. If they own one, then a small paragraph of proper torque or guess with crossed fingers while the customer or boss finds no leaks on the job site. Diesel under the skin or risk of fire. AFT as burnt down more vehicles than anything else, after service if leak develops or overfilled. This is when dip stick tubes disappeared in the mid 90's on a number of 4X4's and most SUV's.
