I think for fate, you're supposed to go invisible, plant the bomb in a cluster of buildings, walk out while still invisible, go in with your team, and when all the enemies are clumped with the buildings, you detonate. Works really well for me

@@phuongauphuong7930 Well, it doesn't make sense comparing one of the two most expensive heroes in the game with one of the cheapest, that was even given for free at first. I mean, every hero pales compared with Blue Dragon and Mark X. That said, Fate works pretty well, it's effective and useful because of what Samuel said. For me, it's pretty much easier to use than Ajax or Darwin. Also, her instakill rules.

Fate is OP so thats why i stopped using her, she became boring after i saw i was able to solo most of missions with only Fate lol. if her camo + instakill ability was not so broken i would have her as my favorite hero

Fate is an amazing character because she has incredibly long range and high innate damage. She doesn't need fancy abilities because she tears up enemies just with her gun. It switches from long range sniper mode to like a machine gun when they get in close range too so that is great too. My favorite hero by far. Bomb and Stealth seem to be made to be used together, she can sneak next to objectives and plant that bomb to do massive damage to them. Very useful in some situations. Great hero all around.

fate is more of solo enemy line sabotager sometimes she helps me finish multiple targets missions faster even than blue dragon because of her instant kill and bomb and dont make start talking about her bieng able to instant kill frickin those huge shield guys on and those plasma bouncers

Dude wtf fate is at least a 8.5/10. With her stealth instakill ability she is amazing and can oneshot problematic enemies like the big shield robots and the armored worm aliens, and is both good for long range single target or short range multitarget dmg. Her bomb ability is where he shines, you plant it at a building, at a cluster of enemies or at a boss to deal dmg, stealthing optional.

Sha’tra is surprisingly useful against the final stage of world 2 for these reasons 1.His ranged attack can bounce off his face 3 times like the engineer’s attack2.He can insanity kill those robots that destroys tower places do you can’t use a tower on those tower places (yes,that actually happens)But besides that sha’tra is not as good in iron marines tha n in kingdom rush frontiersThey should buff him

reaper plays I found him awful because his abilities were all terrible and his damage was also awful (at level 10 without the damage upgrade). The health is pretty good and the armour he has made him seem durable but he still seemed to die a ton with me. Claw attack was actually good, I admit that. The invincibility upgrade was bad since it only lasted a couple seconds and karkinos had to be nearly dead for it to trigger. Water cannon also awful. Speed upgrade was fairly nice for the water levels, but other that not too effective. Biggest complaint with me for him is the heal rate...I think he heals 5% of the bar at a time which sucks. I find any other hero superior to him

Sha'tra is a legend in iron marines it saved me so many times, he's my main because: the abducting is a really powerful move, if you see a hammergrub, or a rocky alien or a shield- generating stronk machine in the ascendaar, and if you drop him in the middle of a group, he kills everything with the second ability. I cheated so many levels because i abducted 2 shield generating titans in a row with him.

One thing that I noticed is a lot more people like Fate than me. Take my rating with the understanding that I am biased in my opinions. :) I have a certain gameplay style that she doesn't work well with.

Superjombombo Let's Play I'm not totally sold on her either. She seems pretty good at first and can hold her own in the first world in most cases. She also fills a certain roll of commando that no one else really does, but she's not that great of a hero. You made a good assessment. Was wondering if you think it's worth it to rate all the units? And possibly best upgrades in the trees? I sure would like it :)

She is a great hero. She has an enormous range, when she is cloaked she has a fantastic chance of instant kill (really useful against any tough enemies), she can be deployed place a bomb and be removed out of the field or cloaked for the detonation. You don't even have to wait for the cooldown for the cloak, you can use it anytime etc... She has a great potential. Btw, how did you get all the heroes maxed up?

So you cannot perform surprise Attack. Fate has excellent abilities for surprises with necessary bait. Since that’s not your play style we cannot force you. BTW, the reason Kara dropped a lot in performance on second planet is because a lot of enemies there heavily armoured which can reduce a lot of damage received. From my point of view, Kara is best used on up and close situations for claiming enemy base since most of them obviously has barrier which Jury-rigged missile buff will do well. Plus she can become a makeshift crowd control unit with her Gyro-Barrage where she can clear some small fry around her even with her extra bomb.

Fate is the best. You can pretty much solo the game with her and just leaving your guys in the base defending. Learning how to use the cloaking to instakill, then duck out of it, transport out really quick, kill off bases and massive amounts of guys. Seriously, learn to play as her. Just try to solo the levels with her. The only thing she isn’t the best at is killing bosses.

yeah I thought fate was really good, decent damage and defence. The bomb as really useful to take out buildings and larger units and the cloaking lets her heal and instakill enemies while being untargettable, also depite taggins being boring he requires so little management. you can just active the shield and ammo when we gets to low health withought him being in your view

To answer your question yes, your hero will still be purchased for the account associated with your device. HOWEVER, I HAVE lost heroes in the past as a result of not having all my data properly backed up to the cloud, so make sure you do that.

Things i noticed: The heroes quality seemed to increase with price (Except with sha'tra and fate, they were outliers), which is probably a psychological effect (It can be seen with wine tasting, if you've watched those videos, to sum it up people try a cheap wine and an expensive wine without knowing the price, and they say how they like it, which is often the same, then they try it with price, and somehow it tastes better the more expensive it is. Another kind is where each time it's the same wine, and they lie about the price, also no blind test, but it shows the same results, more expensive = better). Don't take this comment as: none of this matters because bias and effects we can't control, take it as: This video's results may be more biased then it may seem.

I use fate. she may seem weird to use for a while, but she is an amazing scout and the nuke does tons of damage. I think that sjb just hasn't played with her for that long :p otherwise this review seems pretty solid.

Hi great vid and this is an amazing game I understand mark x got highest rating and going into this but my question is with concerning all prices and ratings and someone who has a hard time justifying pay more money than the game acctually cost, who would you say would be the best pick in that regard even if it is one that cost money just not more than the game?

I'd just go with Paragon if you don't want to spend any money. Use Ajax if you want to spend only $3. If you're willing to spend more money, Dr Graaff and Mark X are both pretty amazing.

Ajax's stun ability isn't all that bad,when you have bosses to kill or when there are too many enemies,you just click that ability and let your troops deal tons if damage and even regen a bit Paragon has a similar ability too,it's rather useful

Agreed. With Iron Marines, Iron Hide Studios has proven that they can do real time strategy decently. But they were the KINGS of tower defense! Why switch to something you are decent at when you can continue to be the best in your area of expertise? Let's hope they DO decide to make more Kingdom Rush games. Like Sha'tra says when you click on him excessively, "I miss my time in Linerea."
