I love fully upgraded barracks units. The paladins are absolute tanks when upgraded with armor and the berserkers are major damage dealers. Each to their own I guess.

I do like berserkers but I only use them a few times main reason I have them is for the ranged weapons and meat shielding but they cost so much I've been so much better nearly never using barracks

Just found out that if a sorcerer tower is put at the entrance of lord blackburn, and an earth elemental is summoned to block his path, you can actually micro the earth elemental out of the way and reposition it in front of him to tank hits, the tiniest second before blackburn slams his ax to disable towers. Works on iOS version as of Aug. 2021.

Spectral knights can still die to physical damage even though it said “Immune” to physical. The physical damage of what ever was dealt is reduced and has a short delay before it will actually damage them.

Correct. From memory there's an iron challenge where you only have barracks and artillery. The spectral knight go on the top road and a bunch of skeletons and necromancers coke down the lower road...

Fun fact, true damage (Retribution from Gerald, spike damage from barracks) ignores armor, so that's helpful against Fallen/Spectral Knights

Wow this came out 8 years ago. Opened kingdom rush and was surprised to see 3 new levels. Did this blackburn series first and was fun but lost 3 hearts and had to use the extra lives to finish with 3 stars. Btw, like the commentary 👍 makes it more entertaining

Oscar Hunter Well , comment is a bit old but nobody pass those levels at first try , you get rekt , get rekt again ( up to 10 ) and as you learn your mistakes you finnaly win .

also, you can tell he records the commentary afterward to accompany the gameplay, because he mentions up front that there will be lag later in the video... if he was recording his narration while actually playing, he would have no way of knowing that.

For this level you should use more sorcerers with golems to tank the boss and lycans imo since a lot of units have high armor and also never use barracks on this.

I used the magus, 'power, unlimited power' because of his magical damage output. hmm I also had a much different layout and approach to this mission.. Still got three stars. I don't think you're on veteran, I think you're on normal. 6:19 it's not like a lot of enemies have magic resistance.. Um on this map yes, witches are immune to magic attacks and the purple knights are highly resistant to magic. The ghosts they spawn when defeated are highly physically resistant to the point where most physical attacks do zero.

this map is really hard, i get usually stuck on one of those later waves of purple guys (not the first waves, i can handle.. maybe i press next wave too quick sometimes without noticing.. hard to remember because it's so intense gameplay). I started same as you actually, or similar.. placing the tesla on the left (it still hits all mobs, plus some of the skeletons.. not sure which one is better, some rounds i alternate). I've been using the frost lady maybe that's why. I'll try with the saw guy, but never used him so might need some practice. I also started a bit different, and overall i do quite fine.. just until those later waves of purples that suddenly screw me over before i realize. i use my hero at start in the bottom part, hero+ reinforcements and they are enough to hold off those zombies.. so i focus on the other towers first. there is also room for extra so i use 1 or 2 reinforcement+ a rain of fire to kill or almost killl one of the big guys, then when i click next wave it is up again and i can use it to kill the witch or deal with the others... So i start off good, maybe even more ''breathing'' room than you have here, but i get lost in the middle. EDIT The part around 10min on your video. I see actually the saw guy makes a huge difference there. i just love using the frost mage i got lazy to even try others. I didnt bother so much with mages in the back, as the frost mage hero kill those guys really fast (in their second phase), but i see that works good. hope ill make it now. I still prefer how i start though, by just putting a tesla with 2 of the left upgrades, all the stuff dies without needing hero or reinfs up there (until big guys come)

Phantom knights say immune but it’s possible to whittle their health down over time with barracks. It just costs you time and troops

RicoLen1 and you pay much more, about 27$ with all the heroes. Not sure about the maps. I just found that out a couple of days ago. Makes me regret I didn't buy it when it was just 2$ for the entire game. Does the steam version have all the maps and all the heroes when you buy it? That seems really nice, cause it's HD, works well on PC and has all levels and the pretty map. Also, do you get extra "cheat" powerups? Lighting strike, 3 reinforcements and gold? And that hero guy...he's a total Dota ripoff. He looks almost exactly the same! xD I'm just saiyan cause I play Dota, and I can't play him there. But I don't think about that in an offensive way, the entire game has things taken from other games and movies and stuff...

Tesla coil should definitely be a spot over to cut down on micro. You are a champion at that but I'm really bad at it. I also like to use the ice champion because it slows the big guys down a lot maximizing tesla coil damage. She also has a magic attack which helps against the ghost knights.

That middle spot tends to accumulate a lot of speedy rats, werewolves and witches. They get decimated by the tesla coil but they're fast little bastards so the placement of that first coil matters a lot.

Frontiers is the best. The first kingdom rush's hero system was terrible. KR Origins was overrated and didn't capture the elven magical mood that we were expecting. It also lacked creativity. KR Frontiers has the least levels but it was the best one in my opinion.

+Nick Titel Artillery is best for groups of enemies. Archers are cheap and for moderate damage. Mage is higher damage single target slow. And barracks block enemies so they can get hit more with the above mentioned towers

+Nick Titel barbarians help you to atack air enemies ... ranger seems to me better for their fast fire ... at the rest depend of level . but a very good is to have your reforcements maxim upgrade so you have more spear for air enemies ,,

eout is way beter than the musketeers. Why? they have poison arrows which do massive damage to all enemies, especially armored. It also has wrath of the forest which helps with those enemies you can't seem to kill easily "coughForestTrollcough". All the musketeers have is the instakill which they usually aim at weak enemies or enemies about to die. The shrapnel is ok but its not enough to be better than the rangers hideout.

Kingdom rush frontiers for me is a decent challenge. Btw I’m pretty sure the spectral knight uses the phantom warrior’s model from frontiers.(accept for the sword and helmet.)

This map isnt that bad on PC but on mobile this is literally hell The map actually being cuted out, it being cuted on the blue flag so if the enemies walk past the blue flag it immidiately being leaked so its much much much harder. It took me weeks to beat it
