If there's sound, then my camera usually records it. I think sound makes the layout more alive, but I know not everyone agrees. It can be confusing at an exhibition if I am videoing a steam era layout and the camera records diesel sounds from another layout nearby (or vice vera).

Thank you so much! I try to video all the layouts being exhibited and edit out the mistakes. Not always successful, but I do try.

Fleet Lane MPD is a nice little layout with both steam and diesel sounds!! Very interesting and cool!!

Glad you enjoyed it. I've seen that layout a few times and there is usually at least 1 loco moving.

Thank you for featuring my layout and my daughter's railway. I'm glad you managed to cover up the conversation I was having work that other fella while you were filming work done music. Definitely not a conversation to be forever cast in stone on YT video! 😑 Hopefully one day I'll actually be operating the layout instead of chatting to someone when you arrive. Thankfully James my fellow operator made sure there's was movement going on most of the time. Any way great to see you again Keith. Maybe I'll catch you properly at Bournemouth in February with the new sidings module connected to the yard.

Ahh, Trenance Downs, one of my favourite layouts is the exhibition. Only saw it pre-doors opening, so did not get to see it running myself.

I wasn't sure about this layout when I first saw it (not much happening) but that changed when I saw it operating quite realistically.
