It got me really interested in music and I joined the school band the next year and music is still my passion. This was the only kid's show I found to really appreciate the arts, unlike the kid's shows we have today. But most shows now, deal mostly with social skills, or are just non-educational adventure shows that are for the sole purpose to get kids off their electronic devices. It kind of upsets me that these amazing kids shows were ended and replaced with other shows that could have had more purpose in inspiring kids to pursue careers specific to a certain subject. But that can't be done without a wider variety of appeal to shows, and a lot more inspiration than just "get off your iPad". Because the purpose of kid's shows is not only to entertain, but to educate as well.

That's because the creator/s of this show actually came out with the "Baby Mozart/Van Gogh/etc. in the early to mid 90's. This was created specifically for the reason you mentioned: even then, there were no substantive shows for kids and toddlers. The creator, again, was actually a teacher (or more, I can't remember how many participated in the "Baby" series) in an elementary school. My daughter has special needs (cognitive) and she loves certain episodes in this series, and since she saw these while young she can still watch them.

I say, no! Responding to your later comment about the "earworm", I heard that nonsense (my opinion). I believe that is nonsense, because who's to prove that they aren't making this idea up? There is so much excellent music in these episodes... I had a grandfather with a music degree and I grew up listening to classical music (he only listened to Beethoven and Wagner, and we're not German!). Anyway, I can't imagine not having this music around. It opens peoples' eyes to other forms of art.
