I am a dropper, experienced all the things first hand. The obligation part from parents is so true. It took me quite a while to get over my failure of JEE. Arpit is the man. Also, I read and journal so I got over this hate cycle all by myself. But this video summarises the average drop year experience. Finally, someone said it. Being a dropper, I told my parents not to expect much and that I'm not as good in studies as they think. I broke their hopes at a very early stage of preparation and told them that I'll prepare at my own limits but will give it my 100%. Throughout that whole year, my failures were my own, and my parents never bothered about my preparation. But in my mind, I always knew that if I failed, it would be 100% my responsibility. Fast forward to JEE ADV, although the exam went decent, I still told them that I messed up because I wasn't sure whether I would still be able to clear it or not. I informed them beforehand that I was considering lower-ranked colleges. And then the results came out, and I'm in IIT-DELHI now.

What's worse is ki 2022 se 12th passout hun and abhi tak nahi pata kya karna chahta hun main apni life ke sath. JEE aur CUET ke forms to bhar diye par mujhe bhi pata ki 50 percentile bhi nahi aani.
