I think the point that Taemin is trying to make (obviously I don’t want to put words I his mouth) is that even though Ten has been in the industry for so long and has kindve gone through the kpop assembly line he’s still managed to stay true to the artist inside of himself. He has a unique and distinguishable style that is pretty hard to accomplish while being an idol and being expected to fit into a certain box. I just think Taemin is trying to recognize that aspect of ten and how he operates well not only in a group but has also kept his artistic side unadulterated and unaffected by the industry.
