looking back, Ten's voice was so underrated. He is one of the members who got the least lines in some superm's songs but in this song, he really owned it and showed everyone how powerful his voice is. @@peace-gn1oq sm has promoted him much more than the other members???? where??????? his solo songs were station songs and they weren't promoted. if you stack up his solo "promotions" compared to the nct members' group promotions, they don't even compare. not at all. his solo promotions may have been more frequent than other nct members but that's because he had NO fixed group promotions for 3 years. his solo promotions may have gained him fans, but he lost much much more than he gained because of his inconsistent promotions. when he finally got a fixed group, it was a group that promoted in an entirely different country than the one he "promoted" as a solo in for 3 years. he's literally never been able to build a fanbase in one country. which other nct member has had such inconsistency in their promotions, while still being able to maintain their popularity?? no one. it speaks loads to ten's natural star power and stan attractor qualities. the solo dance break in black on black is not favoritism, that's rightful part distribution. ten IS the best dancer in the group, so of COURSE he got the dance break. and aside from that dance break, he was in the back literally the whole song except the dance break and the 3 seconds at the end. as for jopping, his dance break is literally the ONLY time he stood as center, aka the ONLY time the camera focuses on him alone. and it was barely 5 seconds long. as talented as ten is, they DO sleep on him. he's the token foreigner who's constantly used to bring his fanbase and thai fans to whatever group he's promoting in, and it's commendable how strong his fanbase is despite the fact that he's hopped from group to group ever since his debut. he has been one of the core members of nct since predebut and he's one of their foundational members, yet he's constantly being disrespected. if you don't see all the difficulties in his career that sm themselves have put in his path, i'm convinced you're being purposefully obtuse.
