Thank you for uploading this video. Richard Grayson is my all time favorite character, with Superman being only second to Grayson. At 5:35 GA Clark Kent/Superman worked at the Daily Star, and his boss was George Taylor in his early stories. At 5:50 I agree that The Golden Age Superman (later known as the Superman of Earth 2), bullied the bullies. But as one reads more GA Superman stories (before he was way toned down, by the late 40's), he was more than a bully, he was kind of a dictator (in his own way). Wertham was partly right when he called Superman a fascist. If GA Superman didnt get his way, he would cause havoc and destruction, sometimes over trivial things. GA Superman was a "dont do what I do, do what I say!" and "the ends justify the means" kind of character. Early GA Superman stories show that Superman didnt think twice to rough up men or women, he also didnt mind if the people that he was bullying died at his hands. If Superman had continued on this path, I would have to side with Lex Luthor on him having to take down the over-powered alien thats trying to play a god toward the humans. As they say: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It was the Silver Age/Bronze Age version of the Superman character, that made me love what he stood for. This era of the character was almost infinitely powered, but he never abused his powers toward the lesser powerful (unlike GA Superman). Its the humanity and strong morals and values of the Silver Age/Bronze Age Superman, that made me fall in love with the character. Sadly (at least for me) in contemporary time, they are trying turn Superman dark, brooding, and gritty...to reach broader audience. Nice of Adams to stick up for Afleck, I personally never understood the hate that many people have for Afleck.

Sorry, folks. I'm having a problem with a person who doesn't seem to understand the meaning of the word 'courtesy'.
