Honestly...I'm conflicted, on one hand, the idea of a analog horror with superhero theme has its appeal...on the OTHER hand, I kind of think that there's already enough evil Superman's for the next decade and some. It will most likely be an WELL made evil Superman series...but I honestly would rather have regular goodguy Superman trying to do help in an Analog horror-esque setting. I genuinely think it could be an fun idea to explore

I'm a sucker for anything Superman, seeing as the entire internet seems to hate him for no reason, when he is an absolute icon and has some banger comics and stories out there. And Superhero analog sounds so fire. Like a gotham crook not believing in Batman thinking he's a myth by the GCPD only to realize he's real and will break your spine sounds amazing. But Superman is kind. He's a friend. He's a blue boy scout. Scary evil Superman has been done to death. But I'll give this a shot and have high hopes for this. Strangely, I didn't feel a sense of horror. Even with the intended purpose of the video being to induce a sense of horror, although small until the actual thing came out, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. That symbol, that music, it inspires hope, not fear. To quote the man himself, "Hope is the light that lifts us out of darkness." Superman is that hope, and even when he's meant to be terrifying, he somehow still makes me feel hopeful.

Only thing I liked about SS kills the J. League is the trailer where they're staring up at Superman waiting to see the usual boy scout star. Instead, he shoots his laser into a pilots forehead, and his shadow from above goes from a hero covering the sun to this looming horror casting down darkness and dread. Like it feels so disturbed and different from the rest of the SSKTJL material. Feels detatched and really makes you feel how horrifying it would be to have such a powerful goodie goodie superhero like Superman become this raving lunatic/murderer. This is what I feel this could be if they were to dive into it.

See I’m glad to see this kinda material cuz me personally I’ve been brainstorming an analog horror type story but of the Hulk. If I was more creatively inclined and capable of producing such a production, it’d be a story told to news reports, eye witness accounts, military propaganda and commercials, early cctv/ security recordings,the works; it’d be clips of the destruction and genuine fear that a creature like the Hulk would induce into the media and living styles of the masses. It’d show shit like natural disaster-esc landscapes of towns and cities and news reports of people recounting what caused these horrific events and how the government tries to make the narrative out to be the Hulk destroying America or sum like that.
