He got the flying powers from the radio show, which was what the cartoon was adapting more than the comics. The intro is the same as the radio show. The old serial movies were also adapting the radio stuff more than the comics too. A lot of stuff came from the old radio show like kryptonite and flying, and I think a couple of other powers came from it too. Modern Superman was shaped a lot by that radio show. The Fleischer cartoons might be the peak of western animation outside of feature length films, I honestly can't think of another western cartoon that was animated that beautifully besides Disney movies and the like. Those shorts had an insane budget.

MEGAMIND was responsible for everything Titan did, which I'd like to add that at NO POINT was it even implied that Titan killed someone. He just stole shit and wrecked the city. Metro Man even says that he doesn't need to help because Megamind was perfectly able to do it himself and he was right. Hell, Titan wasn't even a problem when Metro Man faked his death, he knew Metro City would be fine because he knew that Megamind was only a villain because it was fun. He never actually wanted to hurt people. Metro Man is selfish sure, but he's not evil. He just wanted to live for himself, not following the will of others his whole life. I can't blame him for that, most people would do the same thing.

It's because Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men, and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes are just objectively better and because people were big mad, as they should be, that EMH in particular was cancelled for Assembled and its verse. Those shows aren't bad, they're just... a significant downgrade when all is said and done compared to what Marvel animation we were eating good with immediately before. It's cool though that the Assembled-verse is a lot more inter-connected tho, I'll give it that... even if I really don't have an idea when certain things are supposed to have happened in relation to other things.

Rsg, look man, im sorry for ruining metro man for you, but here it goes: Metro man himself says the he wanted to quit being a hero because there was no point in doing it anymore and the outcome to every fight with megamind was always the same. Now here's the thing: He NEVER had to fight megamind. It was as easy as freezing time at the first sign of megamind being out of jail and carrying him back. Im pretty damn sure metro man can carry megamind since he has superhuman strength, so unless I'm missing something here or megamind's big-ass head is way too heavy for a person with superhuman strength, metro man is written inconsistently (again, sorry for ruining him for you).

I mean, to many, he is considered the anime Superman. I just think All Might is a watered down version of Superman and Goku is far better, with him having similar heroic traits but also showing the "indominable human spirit" better than All Might ever could.

@@train123z The only inspiration is his alien origin, because their personalities, goals and role in their respective universe are nothing alike. And that's actually a minor character inspired by Superman in DBZ World - Suppaman. He could've make this list. Goku is more a explorer and a fighter than a hero. What isn't a problem at all, I think he's great character and makes a lot of sense as the protagonist of DB world (that's completely different of DC or BNHA worlds).

@@HenriqueM-jh1ye All I'm saying is there's a reason why Goku is known as Anime's Superman to most people. The fact that he's so different whilst having such similar qualities is the reason why they're compared so much despite Goku being a completely original character in every other sense. All Might is just a cheap imitation of Superman to me. I used to liked MHA when I was younger and even then he never really interested me. I just don't like knockoffs characters in general. I'm fine with inspired characters but most of the ones on this list will never escape Superman's shadow and that's the reason why I stick with the OG.

Well, i disagree with this tier list. I am conflicted in how to perceive it though. Half way through i thought you don't understand superman if a more cynical and messed up version of him is more relatable. How he is symbol of hope, man of tommorow as a superman, one of least cynical heroes and as clark kent his real self pretty good and nice guy, relatable to confident honest working man and in some interoretations also struggles with being different, all of these things of course covered more or less, differently or not at all from interpretation to interpretation. Sometimes badly very poorly likr is is jesus instead of kind man from kansas. Then when homelander and tighten got S tier i thought i got confirmation, since they are not relatable to me at all, so bitter, so entitled and power hungry. And i can get angry pretty i am very flawed, bit these two are... Some people look up to homelander and it scares me. Either that or maybe this is trolling and i thought too much of this piece of entertainment.
