I had the same question about the new girlfriend! But it's a different character. He apparently dated Tegan off screen and then it ended for undisclosed reasons and this is a new person haha feels strange to be honest.

I think in the end that hand was doomsday's hand. He was introduced almost like that in comics.

@@chriswebb1679 Well...at first I would say it's too soon....but when I really think about it...if the idea is say 5 seasons...then you do the Death of Superman story...season three can be the rise of the supermen story....then you could get to Brainiac towards the end of season 4 going into season 5. It just depends on how their roadmap is. Since Doomsday is just a killing machine...you can put him in any season really. It's not like a Darkseid or Brainiac where they are intelligent and calculating and you build your story because of that. This might be a really good time to bring in Doomsday since things were shook up from season 1.

@@baddealdude807 Exactly...now...they won't have the eradicator...but hey...3 out of 4 is good. Since eradicator was just done...it works to do it now. Especially with CW under sale and I know that HBOmax was a contributor on the first season...not sure about this season or moving forward, but it would be good to get out the story you want each season in case something happens to the channel.

There is a line that Natalie mentions that Lois has a family of her own with her own kids and is married to superman. She does know… rewatch it, I’m pretty sure it’s when John-Henry picks her up from school.

First of all, thank you for being one of the first to review Superman here on YT. I feel like it's a forgotten show when it's so good and should get the same buzz as other shows. Yes Nat knows Clark is Superman, she mentioned it in this episode when they're talking in the van. And yeah, the guy in the end is going to be Doomsday.

Loved this episode, vibes from season 1, glad Lois talked with Natalie this episode instead of later on in the season, is superman still fighting over Zod's mind control?, still not sure who's by the cliffhanger.

My initial thought was Doomsday. After seeing the gloved fist, how can it be anyone else? Then I went back and re-read the opening pages to The Death of Superman comic and Doomsday is introduced via punching his way through the Earth. I think one of the writers or producers all but confirmed it as well. It's going to be interesting. We already have multiple characters from The Reign of the Supermen on the show. I'm curious to see how they re-imagine the story.

I think this show has the best setup you could ask for to pull off the Death of Superman and the Reign of the Supermen as it was originally imagined. They have spent a whole season to allow the audience to bond with this version of Clark Kent as well as establishing how he is loved around the world as Superman and the important role he plays daily. Season 2 also seems to be focusing on that more, with all that talk about having more than one Superman from Anderson without realizing what it means to be Superman not just to America, but the whole world. So if they did 'Kill' him, it would have a lot of weight both in the show and on the audience as the show depicts a World without Superman as it tries to fill the void. The Snyderverse rushed this storyline and deviated from the source material far too much that it lacked emotional weight, but this show has the perfect opportunity to do it right and take it's time.

I think it might be Subjekt-17, as he looks a lot like Doomsday but is known to communicate with Clark via psychic visions. Also, it would fit better with the whole American government storyline. I think it's a bait-and-switch like they did with Captain Luthor in Season 1.

So they are doing Doomsday. Interested to see how they do it. Think Anderson's students will play the JLI role in this and they get hurt. If they kill Supes and do the Reign of the Superman will they bring in evil supes in Cyborg Superman? Also want to know what Anderson thinks would have happened if Superman just gave the US a North Korean sub. World peace? Wouldn't help America. Love that they do the relationship drama but don't drag it out. Clark and Lois was resolved here. Jordan and Sarah probably won't be long

Anderson was WAY out of line, not only trying to get Superman to swear loyalty to only saving/protecting the people of the United States, but creating those artificial Kryptonians and giving them the emblem of the house of El. (That's just my opinion).

Looking at how the show is written, I think that Sarah and Jordan will break up for a little bit, but then they will get back together. I really think that Jonathan will fall for Natalie! It makes more sense, plus the writers know that the fans love Jordan and Sarah.
