absolutely agree, to me this is my favorite modern adaptation of superman and lois, sad that this has to end but every story does, i'm just happy and grateful to be able to follow these characters and their story, i know these 4 season despite of not having a big hbo max level of budget you can see the effort they put with all they have on the show, all the S&L team, tyler, bitsie and the rest of the cast put so much love into these characters and their story and i hope after all these done people will give a chance to know and recognize them for what they have done and the legacy that they left to the fans

I would have never believed that anyone could match Christopher Reeve-and frankly he will ALWAYS be Superman to me. I saw him in the theater as a boy when it first came out, and it is one of the most cherished memories of my childhood. That being said… This series-and Tyler Hoechlin’s performance-is absolutely outstanding in every way, and it does the character of Superman proud, because it shows the greatest, most powerful super hero in history as a lovable, nerdy, GENUINE man. A husband who loves his wife beyond words. A father who navigates the craziness of having two boys through everyday life, while being super powered themselves. A loyal and caring friend. A man who inspires those around him for good. A great man, both super powered or not. Bravo, CW. And Bravo to the cast of this outstanding series, because in the years to come, this series will be even more appreciated than it is now.

Tyler's version of Superman with how he emotes actually reminds me most of George. Both their Supermans have that big boyish smile and aren't afraid to look happy. Chrisopher, Dean, Henry, and Tom(His Clark without glasses was basically Superman) on the other hand portrayed him as a bit more stoic

Goodness, the scene where Jordan and Jon are hugging and Jordan is crying along with begging Jon to not leave him with Jon promising he will never leave Jordan. That was so beautiful, my heart broke watching that sweet scene. Plus, the other scenes of them fighting side by side. If there's anything I will miss the most about this show, it has to be the Super Twins and their brotherhood. Best brothers, hands down. That small scene and hug was everything. 😭🥰

*_Superman and Lois_* is, without a doubt, the best Live Action Superman related television series, Story-wise, when you look at the overall arc of the series, there's nothing else that comes close. And, yes, I'm including Smallville in the ranking. Superman and Lois didn't overstay its welcome as did Smallville. There are other CW Shows that ended poorly or also overstayed their welcome. When the writers start running out of interesting storylines to fill up as many episodes as they had to back in the day, there's just no point to continue a show. You gotta leave them wanting more. Superman and Lois is doing just that.

I loved Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Dean Cain was great, but not how I saw Superman.Teri Hatcher was my favorite versions of Lois, until Bitsie Tulloch. I also really liked Grimm, but she was the low point in that show for me. I was even a bit sad when she was cast as the Lois for the Arrowverse. But she stepped up and became Lois Lane. I really wish they would have gotten at the very least, one additional season. Superman and Lois in some aspects is my favorite Superman on screen live action adaption. But it really is very obvious from watching this season that the budget was hit hard and they did the best they can to “wrap up” the story in the limited last season they were given. That being said, I’m thankful for the time we were given with the show. It has felt pretty different in the way they actively leaned into utilizing Superman’s full array of powers fairly often into the story, rather than many live action superhero media trying to write around or outright ignoring stuff like that.

I mean it was confirmed by TVLine that the decision at Warner that's related to the 2025 Superman film(it's not confirmed Gunn made the call or if it was some other executives), but you're not wrong. Taking the show away is a mistake. Especially when there's so many more stories that could be told in this world.

How angry it makes me that this show ends. I liked it a lot and it was the ONLY thing about DC that I liked this year. Tyler became, along with Henry Cavill and Christopher Reeve, their favorite Supermans in Live Action. And I thank him very much for playing this great character. Started with Smallville with the "WB" now it ends with Superman and Lois on the CW. what a poetic end. You can tell the makers of this show understood and are fans of Superman. Outside of the animated series that came about in '96, this show has the best interpretations of both Lex and Superman. This show at the very least will endure as a cult classic.

@pandabouncebounce man i just cannot agree. Cryer was actually lex luthor. Calculating, a genius, always 10 steps ahead of everyone. And always felt like the smartest guy in the room, even when brainiac 5 was there. The S&L lex feels lower tier than fricken Amanda McCoy, and just gets cranky when he doesnt immediately get his way. He never feels like the smartest guy in the room, never feels like he's even 5 steps ahead, and acts way more like kingpin than Lex Luthor. Hell Cryer lex feels like he could easily have had rosenbaums backstory.
