Everyone who always says, "Superman is boring. He's too overpowered" have never picked up a comic book in their life. The films are a terrible representation of the character because writers don't know how to write him. Anything from the DCU & Superman & Lois from the CW is absolutely phenomenal.

I really feel you going into this mythology. Superman has failed in so many ways to be a compelling character even in the comic books and unless you were a 17-year-old me excited to see a legit comic book movie in 1978. That movie isn’t actually that good it simply makes Comic book movies legitimate but it had a long way to go, and the character is just so boring despite the fact that he is an alien, a refugee an orphan, a costume crime fighter and a reporter all rolled into one by come on if you can’t make that work so even though I love that movie, I love George Reeves and I wish that they let Jack Kirby draw Superman in the comics and I even like the Kurt Swan, Superman and I like kingdom come yeah I got my problems with him, but I think this film may actually fix it

Yeah if you are going to say you are a DC fan you probably need to know the superheroes and villains of DC. Mr Terrific, Guy Gardner Green Lantern, Ultraman, Hawkgirl and Metamorpho that you see in the trailer are part of that basic DC universe. I am all about Superman hate but even I can't say seeing a more classic Action Comics Superman is not exciting. To me Superman without the red trunks is just a modern day goth boy Superman. I am all in. I will hold myself from Bat slander because omg Batsexuals are such a pain.

A more accurate description would be we are ‘casual DC fans’ we haven’t seen everything but together we mostly enjoy what we have seen (especially Batman). No offence but Superman just hasn’t hit the same, hopefully this one will change that for us. Thanks for the info on who the other characters are though, we always enjoy learning through the comments. And what? Batsexuals? Haha actually maybe it’s better we don’t know 😂

@@btnfox Haha. All jokes for me here but yeah DC fans do get sensitive about their world. For us comic book fans that don't fall Marvel or DC one of the most annoying group of fans are often called Batsexuals. These are Batman fan that love Batman to a fault. He is just a normal dude in a mask but a Batsexual would tell you he can be Superman or any other powered hero with prep time. And yes Superman has always been a rather boring superhero. When you are all powerful there is very little you can do with the story. Good Superman stories have Clark be the problem solver. The history of Superman comics is that he is just a very good guy that always does the right thing. That is a little slow for drama. I love Superman and at the same time I get bored by him.

so pra informação o krypto nao é cgi e assim como algumas das cenas da pra ver efeitos praticos e o monstro gigante é um kaiju mas pouco explorado nos filmes do superman nao achei viloes demais afinal esse nao é uma origem e sim um universo estabelecido ^^
