I wish they would bring out a ArtBook about Superman The Animated Series. Like they did on Batman The Animated Series by Paul Dini and Chip Kidd. I Love this Series and its sad that it always gets lost in the shadow of Batman The Animated Series. They are both unspeakably good.

Would be nice to have this artbook, but unfortunately STAS wasn't as influential or as good as BTAS simply because creators didn't cared for Superman as much as they did for Batman, so there's probably not enough material left to create full on artbook.

@@user-ManofStyle1 I'm afraid that you are right. I don't know if you own that Artbook of Batman The Animated Series but on the very last page it reads "To Be Continued". But that book is from 1998 so I guess it must be a little to late to hope for a sequel haha. But nevertheless this video is a great upload. I enjoyed watching it with my morning coffee and some chocolatechip cookies. So thanks for that. Any plans to upload a similar video of Batman The Animated Series?

@@user-ManofStyle1 I'm sorry you're telling me the people in this video talking passionately about superman and how much they love his character and his universe and all the characters in his world actually couldn't give a flip about their adaptation and instead only care about batman? OH PLEASE! and also they didn't need as many art books for STAS as they did for BTAS is because from their last version of BTAS(the new batman adventures) is because they used that same art style because why fix something if it's not broke, why would they change the art style for just a different character? Check your facts before you accuse the people who created it of not caring about it cause they clearly did.

When I was young I liked Batman TAS , but when it came out, I liked Superman TAS more. The bright colors and reassuring feel good pallette and design. Now that I'm older its the other way around. I appreciate the darkness

I may prefer Batman but Superman is near and dear to my heart then again since he's my dad's favorite superhero and I'm a superhero fan in general so you could say I was blessed or cursed depending on your view of the character personally I like Superman he's a character that we can't relate to like we can with Batman or Spider-Man Superman is an ideal and role model he's the perfect man hence one of his monikers The Man of Tomorrow and Superman The Animated Series is a show that takes comic Superman and human him just a little bit so that he's not too powerful and you can get more human like stories however Superman The Animated Series is a brighter show with dark moments whereas Batman The Animated Series is a darker show with bright moments perfectly representing the tone of DC's two iconic characters who alongside Spider-Man Marvel's mascot are the three most iconic superheroes of all time. Honestly I enjoy STAS for what it is it's a fun lighter mature action show that perfectly represents the most iconic superhero of all time Kal-El/Clark Joseph Kent aka The Man of Steel Superman.

Great show. I really liked how they developed the characters of Lex Luthor and Brainiac. Brainiac looks awesome as a robot, it also must’ve been challenging for the producers on how they were going to add him in the show and reveal his personality and everything.

This cartoon was great, but sadly it is overlooked. It really frustrates me when fans praise Batman TAS but completely ignore Superman TAS. Look, BTAS is great but I wish It didn't overshadow this amazing series. Even the creators didn't really care Superman as much as Batman. You can see this lack of care in the rogues. They made Mr Freeze into a sympathetic villain, but barely explore badguys like Parasite. They could have really explore the Superman villains and flesh them out as much as the gotten rogues. The show deserve more recognition.

Well Parasyte was a dark comedic character, and I liked him that way more, it was refreshing to see a guy who was so pathetic in his normal life, so he prefered to be a monster, much more of an interesting concept there for him. In many ways I agree, cause I've been saying all that myself for a while now. STAS had a great template but creators didn't go trough with it,because they've got bored with the character really quickly and wanted to do Justice League already. Show for what it's worth has enough recognition, the problem is that there isn't a lot outside of aesthetics and few concepts, it was a decent show and a big step up for Superman from Donner movies, but in terms of stories, ideas and development, every other DC show just did everything better, it's sad, but true.

love the show, but saying that stories cant be told if superman is as strong as he is in the comics is just so wrong. like not only are there movies that show it, but u just have to be creative n put him against believable villains. granted, it is much easier said than done, but it’s definitely possible.
