Trailer was 🔥 Seeing mostly positively which is great 🙌🏻 I dont think this looked like a fan film at all. I guess the costumes might not be for everyone but the visuals and CGI were amazing

I don’t have a side but only love Superman, I have watched everything Superman in my life and I’m 45 years old. But that suit is horrendous, it is by far the worst superhero costume ever on film.

Observations: Im seeing MASSIVE amounts of snyder hate all over commentary shows whwn discussing this trailer. Its largely unwarranted. Yes there are lots of snyder fan trolls online, but theyre a drip in the bucket. Dave here is a snyder fan. Im a snyder fan. Ping-pong Flix is a snyder fan. Even the late John Schnepp, who originally talked a lot of smack about the DCEU, then he saw ultimate edition and the Snyder Cut and converted to a full on fan. yet I'm not seeing the major snyderverse fan channels hating on this. But listen to midnightsedge and others, holy cow, they sprnd a lot of air just HATING on Snyder, on his much loved films, on his fans. The vitriol is UNREAL. and thid bew season of hate just constantly perpetuates untruths about MOS when teying to say this Superman film is better. The main focus of thos hate is calling MoS "hopeless" and "nihilistic". Saying there's "no joy" and that that Superman doesn't smile and has no morality. But lets be honest guys... i like this bew trailer BECAUSE i liked MoS. Why? Because i like a Superman who struggles and has a crisis of faith and gets pushed beyond the bounds but comes out on top. Everyone sa6s this is bright and hopeful, but look at it with yhe sound off... seriously go look now and turn off the sound. Blood... depression... being overwhelmed... does he smile? Im seeing people HATE Superman and he takes it badly. He mourns a robot. He kisses lois while a giant monster is laserblasting downtown. Im not sating this is bad or good. I accept the full range of Superman. But im not seeing this snilimg positive take when i see people crying and fawning over this. The music is the only thing triggering this emotional response. Has to be. I'm hoping Gunn has so much more in his back pocket on this.

so glad this isn't one of those conversations where everybody agrees on everything, like there's different opinions going. Got to give credit for the DC/CW shows, while some of it wasn't great, at least they had a universe. I agree with Andy, what happen to those shows, the more season it got, the budget became an issue. I mean look at Supergirl tv show. I remember Martian Manhunter, he looked great in the first couple of seasons until they had to use his human form due to the budget. There were times when martian didn't look great. I don't understand Paul sometimes because whenever he explains certain things, am not even sure he knows exactly what he's talking about, seems all over the place to me in my opinion.

I don't agree with the CW take overall but I can understand it. Some of the cinematography does look a little pedestrian but i'm just hoping it gets polished up in the next 7 months

Casting bs on the views for Superman by the way lol or at least the views they’re touting aren’t even across WB official channels… also WB official YT page hasn’t even uploaded it and they ran ads immediately when it came out possibly they’re adding those too. I get what you’re doing saying the “hype” is real but nah dude there is excitement I’m sure but using that Luis clowns post as reference without any actual sources on the numbers is nonsense. Also this feels like The Flash lol not just the poor trailer but as well this hype you’re referring to Dave. Although I think more people will be interested in this than The Flash here’s hoping all this “hype” translates to box office won’t mean shit otherwise 🤷‍♂️

Don’t compare this to flash???? The flash official trailer have about 21 million lifetime views in YT while the Superman teaser just took 24 hour to reach that number.
