Deadpool is unpredictable and he even have a blade in his arsenal that neglect healing factor which he used to kill deathstroke. Deathstroke may have more fighting knowldege then Deadpool but DP won the fight cause he have better abilities then Deathstroke.

That wasn't a fight at all. It was practically just a stress test for Superpan, and research for Waller. Deathstroke had the gear to help him survive this little "push experiment on Superman". But there's no way he actually "defeat" Big Blue in a 1 on 1 combat sense.

Like I said, lobotomy so fast and so precise Deathstroke couldn't feel it or see the heat vision. Superman is faster than light, and Deathstroke isn't. Superman would have him underwater and keep him there until Deathstroke gives up so he doesn't drown. Deathstroke can't even hurt Superman to begin with, might as well put Harley Quinn up against Doomsday or Darkseid.

This could've been better, imagine Lois finding out he does what he does for his family, while Superman sets a good example, Slade a bad example, Superman "You want to be like me," while Slade "I don't even want to be like me," they had a chance to draw parallels and they missed it, who knows maybe Sups will try to go back in time to save his son, and Slade might go "Why wont you help me save MY KID."

Taskmaster just beat Hyperion 1 on 1. He didn't have Deathstroke's gear, nor his "enhancements". Nor did Taskmaster use bystanders and hostages to keep Hyperion at bay. Plus, Taskmaster had Hyperion eating dirt, and was ready to end him - but Nick Fury restrained him. All it took was prep time (a kryptonite -ish boomerang arrow, getting the opponent to underestimate him.) To put this in another perspective: With Prep: Taskmaster used a mineral that took away Hyperion's God powers and beat him, almost killed him too. With Prep: Deathstroke (never heard of Kryptonite?) used a wall of hostages including Lois, to try an push / annoy Superman who he never actually defeated? Swap Hyperion and Superman: With Prep: Taskmaster can use a mineral that could take away Superman's God powers and beat him. That's the whole point of Taskmaster#2 With Prep: Deathstroke's going to hold who Hostage? Will Hyperion care? He'd be royally screwed.

Oh, we have seen what Superman can become if pushed to the limit. This was a nice story because it showed off Superman's emotional range without going Injustice Superman on us. I think all of us would react like Superman if someone we cared about was in danger like that. Thing is though most of us would probably have killed Deathstroke, or maimed him like Batman would have.

Manchester Black has telepathy and telekinesis, so he can create illusions or hurt Superman without having to get close to him. He's been featured in a number of Superman stories, most recently in Superman: The Black Dawn. I believe there is a video of it on this channel. But his best story is Action Comics #775 "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way?", which was adapted into an animated movie called "Superman vs. The Elite".

The writing and plotting in this comic book were ATROCIOUS. What a ludicrous series of events to set up just to make Deathstroke appear to have any chance against Superman. Good lord. That scene toward the end is especially egregious. Superman: "WHERE IS SHE?!" Deathstroke: "I dunno, man, maybe she's dead." Also Deathstroke: *conveniently grabs Lois Lane from cartoon space where Superman couldn't see her*

There's really no logical reason Slade should have escaped after the first encounter. Superman should be more than capable of detecting the grenade before Slade could throw it, as well as fast enough to easily intercept and disable it before Slade could even move. Unless this Superman is a lot weaker than I am expecting? Not to mention even assuming Deathstroke pulled it off, I don't see how he possibly could have escaped all of Superman's senses and slipped away. And that's just what I thought was wrong with the first encounter. I don't really read comics, but this seems contrived to me.

142pushups And his smell? Or better yet his physical form as Superman should literally be able scan around 360 degrees and see through every piece of cover for miles or something. Couple that with his super speed and he should be able to search every nook and cranny of that part of the city in minutes or something. The only reason this works is because, as the other two said, this Superman is weaker and the writer is doing what many writers of the character do and making his power inconsistent af.
