But i got to say, on this short, two things jarred me too much. 1) don't have barry die in the exact way as invinceble scene. copying something exactly, always falls flat for me. but aside from personal taste, and more importantly, it's also inconsistent with the barry character. barry learned how to phase thru objects by this time, he'd just have phased thru kal-el's hands, and superman's could not stop that, because he doesn't superspeed in the same manner barry can (ie. barry taps into a 'speed force' which is why he can do a lot more, while clarks is likely based on pure physicality at least as of this time). 2) bruce already fought superman once. he knows exactly what he needs to be able to defeat him. so you need to explain a) why bruce even thought there would be a chance. maybe this universe bruce is not as smart as he is supposed to be, but real bruce would have pushed for a fighting withdrawal until he can get to his kryptonite storage, and b) why was he not carrying kryptonite on him at all times. thats also a very batman thing to do. a small pellet in a lead capsule on his utility belt at all times, ever since his dream. i know everyone always has gripes and nitpicks with logical consistency, so sorry, but these two issue are a big problem because of the already established character traits and experiences. so ignoring that, is failure to probably acknowledge the characters development. which are defintely flaws in story telling and should be avoided.

This was genuinely breathtaking, yet simultaneously horrific. It’s like I’m watching a proper sequel to ZSJL (with a bunch of Invincible references, lol). And that ending… holy fuck. Genuinely terrifying. Truly captures the fear and power that you should feel when meeting The Lord of Apokolips.

I wish I got here sooner. This was amazingly well done. I have a few observations. Superman here seemed to be much weaker than in the movies. I guess that's a balance to make it more fair. Since normally even in the Synderverse he would be completely immune to Victor's punches. I did like how when he got injured he healed almost instantly. That's just like the comics. Only Kryptonite can ever slow him down. Heh Darkseid at the end was like some kind of Eldrich abomination like Cthulhu. Which was weird. It is really well done. Just a few observations there. I would like to see Superman go into the sun literally for a big battle against Darkseid. That would be cool. And by comic canon Superman wins against Darkseid almost always and when he doesn't Darkseid just teleports him back to Earth. Lol.
