My buddies and I all ignored Captain Cold (I mean who didn't lol) when the game first came out, but we started playing again recently and I've fallen in love with him. His gameplay is so simple, and smooth. And the Mr Freeze skin makes it even better. Edit: And those very rare times where you can get someone to kill themselves with the trait are hilarious.

Cold was my main. When I first played the game at a friend's house I tried him because he's in my top 3 favorite DC villains, but I couldn't wrap my head around him instantly like I could with someone like Batman or Green Arrow. But when I got the game myself and could put in the practice, I fell in love. So many tools, so many options, and so unassuming. Was really fun to see people expect an easy win only to get slapped around.

D pad in my opinion you mess up moves less with the d pad you just have to get used to how it feels, if you use the stick you have more space to mess up moves and you have to be more precise.

Most people who use the regular controllers use the dpad. Sometimes out of habit I'll use the stick for movement into jumping because in that one way it can feel more precise but for moves it's always dpad. The few times I've seen decent players use the joystick on the controller, they use it like a pro fighting game controller so they hold it similar to the way you'd hold an arcade stick (like pinching it between their index and thumb)

They're kinda like Fatal Blows in that they only get one, but the Clash mechanic works by betting bars. If the attacker bets more, they damage the opponent. If the defender bets more, they regen health.

Sitting here watching these amazing matches and I was like hmm..I kinda hate how you can't end the match imma kool way like with a different victory it's just a basic victory like it doesn't have to be a fatality or brutally almost every fighting game gives you an alternative way to end a match..I think they could bring back heroic finishes like from Mk vs DC and give villains villainous finishes. With special requirements but requirements that can actually be met not some try hard bs..just saying

What I'd like is if they took the resources that would normally go into fatalities and make extra cool "brutalities" meaning just if you end the match in a certain way then something extra cool happens, instead of them being disintegrated or bisected, like the Batmobile comes through and knocks them into the screen and cracks it. Something like that
