5:03 Is one of the reasons why I use Motaro as the asisst for Shao. If you press R1 or RB during the start of your fatal blow, Motaro will do the initiating hit for you. Motato's is a lot faster then Shao's and way more lenient to combo into. Combo Super did would have worked with Motaro.

I know, one of the biggest things that Shao sucks at is he can't combo into fatal blow from most things. But in my opinion it's not worth giving up all the combo extensions you can do with Sonya (or in my case Scorpion) just for that. I only swap to Sub Zero kameo when I'm getting zoned, because he has 0 anti zoning tools

I’m a Shao main and If you want to combo the super with Shao you can do the launcher and do stand 2 into super. But if you’re using Motaro you can do 2,2,4 and then super and mash R1 (kameo). Motaro will attack instead of you and depending how much gravity you used it will hit most of the times

Super,you can do F1,2,2 into Down forward 4, immediately then hammer is down do a Back 3,2 for a pop up combo then end it with his command grab.

You can combo Shaos fatal from 1,2 and also with Motaro you can combo like most other fatal blows since he has a move that turns the fatal attack into a Motaro punch instead of the axe throw

Eh, different strokes. I've always liked KI since the OG arcade release, but I also don't like having every other combo interrupted by something. Sometimes it's nice to just hit a 12-hit, 30-35% combo reliably when you see they can't break it.

You can really see in this video at what shao Khan is good at and what he is not and where he struggles Khans opponents can not be overly aggressive with him or do something u safe cause ifs gonna cost you a third of you health he has good footies if people don't do their jumps right but where he is weak he is weak no mids, opponents can duck his hights yes some of his stuff is safe but your getting a throw the most other was duck and tao square good low pokes get the best of him then most players make mistakes when they get inpatient also struggles with zoning but if you make one mistake on Khan and dnt have 3 bars it can me over fast Khan not being able to combo is overhead hurts thst means combos are coming from highs or wake up
