As someone with 20 years of retail behind her; this hurts my heart!! 1. If you had some sort of system in your store, it would be easier for you to keep track of things. Ie keep all the cleaning products on one shelf (or two). Keep all your cheeses in one fridge, the sodas in another etc. 2. Your storage.... oh my! I'm itching to organize it! :D Even though you have restockers, you still need to know what you have if you're gonna get the most of out your store. Clean it up, organize it (like in the store, keep the same categories together) and you'll be able to order what you need instead of just throwing money out of the window. Otherwise, I love this series!

That storage area is beyond fixing. Lol. Once you start selling multiple skus, you have to have some sort of a system to keep up with what you have on hand. I just give each item from one slot to 8 slots depending on the size of the box and how well it sells. If you continue to operate by blind ordering, you will have to wait until an item sells completely out before you order again. Or you could just over order like you did when the video started. But when you have a mountain of products on the curb and you purchase new items, you will have to dig until you find it. Loving the series!

Yeah! He seems to not realize that the problem is him. You can't look on the shelf and say oh we're low so lets just order 3 of this thing and that's that. He needs to organize the back so he knows where things are. THEN he looks at the BACK and can see what's low and what's not. It might help if he brings his computer to the back so he can monitor the back from there instead of buying multiple things without organizing. It's entertaining to watch, but frustrating!

I love the series. I have two suggestions. 1. If you are wanting to have freezers in front of the refrigerators, why not put all the fridges against the wall? It will be uniform and you can better track and remember where things are this tracking what needs to be restocked 2. You have a ton of empty shelves in the store. You should invest time and maximize what your stores items. Why is there only two shelves of candy bars when that entire rack is not even being used? I feel like you would maximize your sales and returns

Trev bro you need to organize your storage and order based on what's getting low in storage, not what's low on the shelves. The shelves might be low because the stockers havent gotten to it yet. If you organize the storage where you know where eveeything is you coule say 'okay, im down to one case of this, this, and this" for example.

Quick tip, I think you have an extra checkout stand right? Find a place for it and use it while you have 2 other cashiers to speed up the process. You can even close the checkout stand with ‘E’ when you are not on the checkout stand to prevent customers from lining up to an empty checkout stand.

As a manager of a grocery store 2 issues you should address 1 stack the registers on top of each other heading towards the exits. The other the stockroom should never be full while the sales floor is empty. You are losing so much money.

@@Boissinova the registers should turn 90 degrees . Cashier 2 would be behind cashier 1 parallel. When the customers finishing paying they're walking out of the store not down a aisle. The line will then form going towards the back of the store by the freezers instead of the stockroom.
