It was great to see a runner knowing how to shop properly. Bob would grab multiple items at once. Also he would not waste time just to get his limit of 5 items. If he had 3 or 4 he would just move on. Every second counts

Yup. And he took his cart and completed the shopping list piecemeal. I've never seen anyone win who ran into the store sans cart to complete the list. Just plain dumb.

Amazing strategy; complete the shopping list as soon as possible while getting expensive items nearby or at least at the same aisle. In the deli section, you can grab 5 items for the cheese and salami as they're not as heavy as detergents. Speaking of which, I'd add 3 or 4 of either Liquid Tide/Powdered Ultra Tide or Cheer since they make the cart heavier and take up space as well, also good call on Bob to take some brooms and some other stuff for cleaning. After that, get either cooking oil, diapers and/or dog food; go to the health/beauty age or meat section and if time is running out, just grab as many items that are closest to you, grinding coffee for 100$ is basically a waste of time.

I saw an episode where the lady honestly took 20 to 30 seconds trying to restack cans of beans. Lady, just put the beans in the cart! Yeah it'll only be 7 or 8 dollars worth, but you lose more taking the time to restock them.

Bob earned 50 seconds and Barbara earned 40 seconds and got all her Round questions. They were actually a good team together. But Tia actually did the best shopping for the time she had available. She shopped just over $4 per second and Bob was. Just over $3 per second and poor team #2 she shopped just over $2.50 per second. You see bob and the girl in team #2 waste seconds putting items back instead of just keeping them in their hands when they pick stuff up. I guess people are so focused that stuff has to be put back. I don't know the penalty for having more than five items, and i don't know if there is a rule that if an item hits the floor that contestants cant keep it and must put it back because i always see that happen but i never heard the announce if that is a rule

I didn’t really agree with some of the shopping strategies out there. Never waste time on the shopping list. Grabbing garlic powder? Instant milk? Brooms? Just for once I want to see someone grab the meats, the cheeses, the salamis, the boxes of tide, the pampers, and the big thing of oil. Grind some coffee while grabbing cans of coffee.
