I just got one of these with a 7302. The IPMI is a little quirky compared to other SM boards I've worked with but other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

@@mauricobian right now I have 2 servers, one is storage and the other for VM's. The intention is to consolidate all of that into one server.

What is quirky about the IPMI?

@@PatMaddox It kind of works when it wants to and I don't use it enough to bother with updating so it's possible that would fix it. The server sits about 10 feet from me though, if it were a more typical situation (in a server room or colocated) I'd investigate further.

Hi there I just got this board. I’m stuck on what kind of case will go with this board. I am looking for a smallest compact form of one get with room for at least 4 3.5 drives and 2 or 3 2.5 inch drives any recommendations?

Is that a Silverstone XE04-SP3 CPU fan? How do you like it? Looks like it clears the RAM ok. Is it quiet?

yes, pretty good. no issues with memory it would not cover memory.
