There have been several of these interviews by British press for this exhibition. And they’re ALL awful. Plus the British press is notorious for asking inappropriate questions, at inappropriate times. Like….don’t ask her about her community service from a gazillion years ago when her life is completely different and hasn’t been THAT in years! Or personal questions they twist into scandal. She is much more open with international press than with the British press. I’ve watched three British interviews for this exhibition and they ALL ask the same damn questions and its lazy and boring.

WRONG. Naomi was never one of those girls. She has talked about her journey in the industry and how she never had to do the casting couch or sleep her way to the top. She’s credited the people and designers around her who protected her. Azzedine Alaia was one of them, who protected her and shielded her from the perverse side of the industry. The only way she knew Epstein is because they attended some of the same social events. They were not friends, besties, lovers, or anything like that. There is ONE picture of her in his presence. Stop it.
