There are two reasons why she did not look impeccable in the first dress. First, the dress was too long for her stature. In her size the first dress would have been perfect. Second: the colour. A fairy tale dress like this should have been snow white and not that awkward greyish colour. In snow white it would have been perfect.

The bridesmaid is way too much over reacting. She wants a waste can to throw up, cz the dress is made of lace. Is she for real? Lace dresses are the most sought after. But I agree preferences vary.
