This is why whenever I see "bad kids", I instantly think of the parents. Parents EXPECT results (good behavior and emotional regulation), without putting in the "work". Not to mention, the parents act like terrible toddlers themselves. We are the role model. Children mimic our behavior. Ugh, it breaks my heart 💔

I know that they needed some help but they are so committed to changing, it's hard to be told that the way you are doing things just isn't working and you have to change but they just accepted it, didn't waste time trying to argue or make excuses, they just acknowledged that Jo was right and they needed to make changes. Especially incredible for the Dad to work on the way he was treating his kids. I think they are really lovely people and they have beautiful children.

It's so funny. Because the only tools the nanny is teaching the parents is the time out and the room thing. In every episode. That's all. The parents should just watch an episode and that's it. Oh and that whole routine thing. The other things she's doing is actually therapy.
