It really is a credit to Curtis Armstrong that he can make a character like Metatron sympathetic.

Wasn't there a Christmas episode where Sam and Dean fought the pagan versions of Santa and Mrs. Claus. I remember a spell where Dean kept saying there as a swear.

Hey, I had forgotten that Kevin appeared for a moment in this episode ! Well, seeing as it's the episode between the great "Don't Call Me Shurley" and the fast-tempo "We Happy Few", it's no surprise that I tend to forget it ... Are you going to do 22 and 23 or only the finale ?

*Lmao remember when Sam had to rescue his abuser & bring Lucifer into his home where he invaded Sam's room and the writers made it a joke instead of exploring how psychologically violating and wrong that is?* *Because I sure do!*

Well Dean was with his murderer and they didn't make a big deal about it either. The point is if you're looking for a show that talks about therapy Supernatural is not it.

I hated that Sam had to save lucifer. Idk lucifer tourtured him so much then boom. I like the way Misha is playing it don't get me wrong but that lucifer seems so different then season 5. Like the writers just make him seem like a completely different character. Idk is it just me? Lol do you or others think that too? Haha
@magiv42058 жыл бұрын
No you're not the only one. I was so angry with the writers for glossing over Sam’s trauma yet again, and that episode made me angrier than ever. They made Lucifer seem like the misunderstood son, and completely changed established canon relationships to make that vile deception work. Lucifer is evil, has killed millions of people, tortured Sam beyond imagination, and all this is just forgotten because he is apparently just misunderstood and only needed to be loved. This is disgusting, to say the least.
@Nick-yi9ef8 жыл бұрын
Actually, God has killed millions, not Lucifer.

Playfulpanthress killed maybe ten people? Are you kidding me?? So we're not gonna talk about the blast that happened when he was released, that at its epicentre likely vaporized that part of the city? Are we not gonna talk about all the people he doomed because he released the four horsemen and, oh right, brought on the apocalypse?? Or, even before that, how he instructed Azazel to destroy hundreds of lives to create the special children and the army of demons that possessed people close to them to watch their every move and lead Sam onto the highway to hell? Because I'm sure those unfortunate vessels didn't get off so easy either, if they even survived, that is. He did so many horrible things that we didn't even get to see directly, think the storms and flood that wreaked havoc in the world during the entirety of s5. And let's not forget all the millions of people that WOULD have died if the title battle would actully have been carried out! On screen alone, we saw him kill maybe twenty people, but that number is only so relatively low because he didn't like to directly get his hands too dirty, since he was busy trying to convince everybody of being the good guy. It seems to have worked one some, unfortunately, sine you two seem shockingly eager to gloss over his actions, just like the writers do.

+Playfulpanthress Let me spell it out for you: Yes, Sam had his hand in setting him free, but everything leading up to this moment had been planned out already beforehand. Lucifer told Azazel when the time was right to begin creating the special children. He specifically instructed Lilith to decieve Sam via Ruby to break the last seal. Lucifer (with the help of Michael and Gabriel, I'll give you that) manipulated everyone and willingly caused the death of thousands, and was willing to cause the deaths of MILLIONS more just for the sake of it. But just because Michael and Raphael helped him, doesn't shift any blame from him. Michael and Raphael are just as guilty. The only difference between them and Lucifer is that while Michael is indifferent towards humans and Raphael dislikes them, Lucifer actually enjoys watching other beings suffer. Not only that, but he gets his entire sense of being by holding power over others. He is literally the textbook rapist: Due to the problems he had in his childhood and his inability to get what he wanted, he develops a compulsive need for domination. And also he is sending a big F!*# YOU to his dad because clearly, if he can act like this without consequences, by his logic, he is in the right and God is wrong. It's all right there. So, I hope that cleared up any of your doubts as to why Lucifer is indeed guilty not only of the blast, but also pretty much everything else that has gone wrong in the Winchester's history from since before the day they were born. And if that's not enough, he is a proven unapologetic, sadistic, psychopathic rapist that should never, in any universe EVER, be called "misunderstood" or "misguided".
