Sam is starting to have the same outlook Dean use to have and that frightens me cause Sam was the one that made Dean believe there was hope. If Sam stops believing eventually so does Dean. I can't handle this. 13 years and this show continues to hurt me 😭

Yeah, Dean needed Sam to keep the faith until Castiel came back. That win is what turned Dean's attitude and outlook around, not Sam's well-intentioned but clumsy attempts at cheering him up with booze and strippers. I mean, "The Clamdiver?"

Bookq36 That’s true but I wasn’t just talking about just this season. Dean outlook has been very dark for a while, but Sam was the always the one that made him have faith. Yes this season it was because of Cas but usually it’s Sam.

No, but look at Sam’s face at 13:01 It killed me. Because he’s been so down (we’re finally seeing him grieve; thank god) and then he’s momentarily surprised that anyone would pay that much for his heart. Like, this broken man, my poor baby, he still doesn’t think he’s worthy of anything, so he’s so surprised to even see someone - a monster nonetheless - wanting his heart for that much money. Idk why that part just has stuck out to me since I watched the episode but it’s been shaking me up inside

I also liked that Doug left. I felt bad for Donna, but it was refreshing to see someone not want to be part of the hunter life, and own their feelings, even if it meant heartbreak. Sam was always my favorite, until season 10, but tonight, his character made a bit of a comeback to me. But seriously, where are Cass and Jack?

Just a thought - I know the portal doesn't exist anymore, but Jack can make one of his own right, in that Apocalypse world? Don't see why he can't do that. He and Mary can escape that way, although if the portal stays up, other Supernatural beings can come into their world. 😓 ALSO, how did Evil Kaia even make that portal? Good Kaia is a Dreamwalker, but is Evil Kaia one also? They can see other worlds when they sleep, but maybe cause Evil Kaia is from another world, her powers are more advanced that she can actually create a portal of her own? - I need so many answers omg 😩 Wanna know more about the portals, Jack, Mary, Cass, the Wayward Sisters & even Lucifer..

Hii Alexander... Sam is depressed... because of what happen... lost Jack, could not save Mom, and he is thinking Dean is not even trying to look for them. He is depressed, angry and lost hope.. now Dean has to comfort him, it's like at first when Dean was angry and Sam comfort him... hope HOPE he will be OK the next episodes. Oh my god please watch One Day at a Time. It literally changed my life and it’s my favorite show. Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix. It’s probably the most representative shows I’ve ever seen. It’s a comedy, but I promise it will make you cry

It was a good episode. Love Donna (was happy to see a serious side to her), love the Boys (of course), but as usual, my only real problems were with the angst yo-yoing the writers always end up doing with Sam and Dean (Dean despairs for a while and Sam lifts him up and by time Dean is up the roles reverse and it is Sam despairing and Dean having to keep Sam level... it's gotten predictable... annoyingly so). My other issue was with Sam acting like Cas is still lost to them............................................... ASSmodeus is still pretending to be Cas I'm sure. Of course, this leads to my other issue... all this looking for Jack and no mention of having told Cas that Jack is in another dimension so Cas doesn't need to be looking for him anymore? How about Kaia? Have they told ASSmodeus-Cas about the finding, losing and finding again before dying of Kaia? If not... then why not? If they have, then what is the explanation of Cas not coming home to help them figure shit out? This is one of my major complaints with SPN writers, the consistency in storytelling is so lax than it really ruins the suspension of reality for people like me who need things to flow in a remotely logical way for me to enjoy a story. I've gotten used to shite writing when it comes to TV shows over the years, but it just seems like SPN is just shrugging away the need for consistency more and more. Anyway, again, good episode on the whole, but on a micro level, I found myself feeling a mix of confused and frustrated lol *sighs*
