If someone didn't breakdown from watching this... they weren't a true fan. It was saying goodbye to two people that have been there throughout the passed 15 years (it was like watching two friends of 15 years die and go to their funeral). I've watched every episode since season one first began... No matter what I've been through in life (many military deployments and years by myself), Supernatural was always there; now it's not... Very sad to not have that anymore, but I think they gave us enough to have a new dynamic on a new plot to reboot in the next few years or so. Great video...

With that, he gave the boys true freedom, but also the understanding that they are now human like everyone else, no special obligations or perks. And when their time comes, they just die like everyone else.

One thing I absolutely loved about the reunite scene at the end was a very subtle move by Jared. When dean turns around, we see younger Sam again. But, he now has a more relaxed stance. He no longer has the stand tall, and pensive stare he usually has. It's the look of a man who has lived a full life, and has no worries or regrets. Also, you and I were on the exact same mindset with Dean being killed by a regular vamp because there's no more hero's luck or storyline.

I commented somewhere else about the way Sam said "Dean" when they met on the bridge. You said it much better here about what I kind of meant when you said that piece was a very subtle move by Jared. I think maybe that was why I noticed Sam's "Dean" was so lowkey. It was a little calmer, flatter than Sam's usual "Dean". You explained well why that might have been. I can see how having lived a full life might change the tone of his greeting to Dean.

There is so much of depth to this ending than meets the eye. Dean went out knowing that one day he would die like this while being fully at peace with himself and all he has done. Even though Sam had fully committed to hunting, he finally got the chance to live a normal life with a family, build a legacy and die old like he had wanted to in the very beginning. As simple as the finale was, the writers sure pulled it off in an amazing way which paid homage to every aspect of what the show truly was when it had started out. I feel it's something only those of us who had stuck around from day 1 can only appreciate not because of being fans but also being understanding of and genuinely loving the show.

I liked the ending, I cried at Dean's death, hell of a scene, cried a bit again when carry on started, and now that I think back, I cried again when Sam died, I think it was a good ending, seems man people hate it, I think it's poetic in some ways, as many pointed out dean died like sam did originally, hell of an ending. I thoroughly enjoyed it, could have been better, but could of been a disaster, like game of thrones, I'm happy with it.

Bobby: time is different here I think the time it took Dean to drive around the place and stop at the bridge equals the time it took Sam to live his entire lifespan. Took a lifetime for Sam to see Dean again took Dean only 1 ish day. Well that's my theory

Oh please... this was one of the WORST show endings ever. Cas sacrificed himself 1 week prior to save dean. And for what? For Dean to later die on a nail. No other major character, besides Bobby, returned to the screen. The guy has literally killed DEATH HIMSELF just to go out in the manner. I get Deans goal was for Sam to live a normal life, but Dean deserved to fucking live out his life. This ending was lazy and predictable. I’ve been watching this show since the very first day it aired 15 years ago. I’m disappointed.

For one, they never gave a time frame as to how long after Jack took over and Cas was taken by the empty that the beginning of the episode took place. Actually, by the way they seemed to be living at the beginning of the episode makes me think a good deal of time had passed. It's very doubtful he died the first hunt back after that. I will agree that the whole death scene really didn't feel right after everything that has happened. That being said, God was no longer around and Jack made it clear that he was going to be hands off. They put a emphasis in earlier seasons that God had brought them back 100s of times over the course of the show and made them forget. So it does make sense that something like that happened and there just wasn't someone there to help them. Plus, what other way could of they killed Dean off that would of been much better? I'd also like to point out that the whole second half of that episode was put together very well. Sure some of the things were expected, but not everything was. Plus come on, the things that were expected needed to happen. Ending the show without them together would of been a bad ending.

Started balling when Dean started telling his ‘baby brother’ he always looked up to him and that Sam was so strong...stronger than him. Sammy lived his life always thinking he was the “least of all of them” with Dean being everyone’s favorite (on the show). Finally he got affirmation that he wasn’t and it was the first time Dean told Sam he loved him. It broke me. Then when I saw a little boy wearing a shirt with ‘Dean’ on it and knew Sammy got his life and I cried so hard I almost stopped breathing. I loved Dean doing his favorite thing in heaven...driving Baby and Carry on my wayward son to the montage of both because that’s what they were doing...carrying on. Could the show have been better? it's truly befitting end for the show. Sam finally living a normal life that he desired, and dean finally being free, going out doing the family business. Finally meeting up in heaven, and they can live with it because they know they did something at the end. They saved people from being stuck in infinite loop, by creating new heaven.

Can’t remember crying during a supernatural episode before, but this, this was just too much. This was just so sad. But Dean dying on the battlefield, Sam dying after living a happy life :‘) I can‘t think of a better and more beautiful ending for our beloved show.

It’s poetic. Dean died at the start of season 2. This in a way puts things back in order. Sam was originally headed to a normal life. Without Chuck writing all their luck, he didn’t have a “brought back from death” moment.

I’m so happy that they both got to be together in heaven in the end, if anyone deserves eternal peace surrounded by the people they love its them. I’m still crying over everything going on and the fact that this is the ending but it’s an ending I’m happy they got. They have fought tooth and nail and been through all sorts of painful events in their lives, losing each other and losing loved ones. They’ve saved the world from all sorts of things multiple times and humanity in general. I love them and I would’ve been extremely pissed if the writers had given them less than they deserved. RIP Dean & Sam Winchester, you will always be remembered and loved by all SPN fans. 🖤😭😭

And to see it end saddens me greatly. But even though they both died everyone pretty much got a happy ending. I don’t know about y’all but I’m glad we got 15 seasons. Aw Leo :( I’ve been in shock these past couple hours and unable to shed tears but man, I feel your pain. I had my hopes up after that scene that he would come back to earth somehow, but things seemed less likely as time went on and it wrecked me. This just hit me very differently this time around can’t explain it. But dude, it definitely feels worse than actually crying immediately for me, since I feel like it’s usually easier for me to have a full on chick flick moment then process some more lol. Leo Winchester, we love you buddy. This episode honestly about as powerful of a finale I think anyone could've asked for. The first half had a very classic feel to it, whereas from the 20 minute mark onwards I was in tears of both sadness and joy giving Dean and Sam the emotional send off they deserved and proving it was never a waste. Sam never let go of Dean, he never forgot and in the end they were together which is what the show has always, always been about. I will never forget this show, nor the 15 years of inspiration and heartache it gave me and I dare say that's the same for anyone who loves these guys as much as we do. And this channel for sharing that love and giving us a place to share and express that.
