Bobby's exit was brilliantly done, but I really feel like they wouldn't have done it if they had know how much longer the show was going to run because his absence is felt. I do love that they brought Castiel back and he's on a redemption journey.

Yes! The triumphant return of Baby to Born to be Wild! As Dean would say: "Awesome." Thats on my top 5 list of Supernatural's best musical moments along with "Back in Black" in 2x3, "Renegade" in 2x12, "O Death in 5x21, and "Walking on Sunshine" in 7x20. (Honorable Mention goes to "Dead or Alive" in 3x16)

Agree, all of them are such great moments. I love the soundtrack of this show. I'd add "Rooster" in 2x19, "Knocking on Heaven's door" in 5x16, "Behind blue eyes" in 10x18, "Solitude" in 12x01", "Nothing else matters" in S13 and the Motörhead song in "Moriah" whose title I don't want to write rn, you know which one :D goosebumps.

I loved seeing season 7 through your eyes, but for me, it's my very least favorite season. I was underwhelmed by the finale as well, because I feel like they left EVERY plot line to the very end of the season and then just tied it all up. It's so interesting how two people can watch the same thing and have differing opinions. That's the magic of the show, I think!

I really wanted to smack Dean for that "Nobody cares that you're broken" line, but at least he brings it back with "I'd rather have you, cursed or not". Poor Cas, his boyfriend is so hot and cold lol

I did not like season 7 the first time I watched it because it was such a departure from what the show had been before. But that was the entire point of the season--to kind of shake things up a little. And, the more I go back and rewatch it, the more I enjoy it.

The ending was CRAZY! I was so shocked when I first saw it. I can't wait for you to see season 8, it's one of my favorites! I agree with what someone else said, the Leviathans are brought up or at least talked about more than the usual season villain, even in the filler episodes which I always liked.

What Dean said to Cas wasn't tough love, I think he was just being a jerk. He doesn't care what happens to people, just himself and mostly Sam.

Awesome reaction, as always! I love your videos so much. 😊 Season 7 is one of my favorites, so I’ve really enjoyed your reaction to it. Maybe I just like it because I work in an office, and appreciate very corporate villains. (Plus I’m like 5 years old inside, so I enjoy giggling at all the dick jokes.) Also, one of my issues with seasons 3 and 5 was that supposedly there was a war going on and there was a big plan, but it never *felt* like it. Season 5 didn’t ever feel like the world was ending, or like Lucifer had generals and armies and a genuine game plan that we could see progressing. Season 7 is really the first time in the show that the bad guys act intelligent and have a plan that we can see that’s genuinely impressive and scary, and it *feels* like they’re winning. I do think season 7 had (or at least felt like it had) the highest proportion of filler episodes; you’re always left wishing they would just get back to the leviathan plot.

I liked this season. More the second half than the first, but it worked for me. Now 9 and 11... well, we'll get there.

Letting them have this extra time with Bobby gave them (and us) closure, which they (and we) didn't get with John's death, or Mary's. It's sad, but the closure is needed, and they were always going to have to say goodbye to him eventually. :( I think that's the second or third time they destroy the Impala, the second time they do it intentionally (Dean trying to kill it with the crowbar was the first intentional try). I'm not going to spoil what happens next season, but as you watch it, keep in mind that at the end of S5, when Sam and Adam fell into the Cage in Hell, Dean did what he promised Sam that he would do - he didn't try to get Sam out of Hell, he didn't look for him, didn't try to make a deal, etc.; instead, he went to Lisa and tried to make a go of a normal life. We have had eps where Sam and Dean have been in two different places - in S4, when they did the flashback eps to when Dean was in Hell, while Sam was telling Dean about what went on and why he trusts Ruby so much. Those flashback scenes were Sam on Earth and Dean in Hell, and yeah, they weren't *current*, but who says they'll be current here? Or in S6, when they did the flashbacks of Soulless Sam. No, not ALL the angels, there are still angels around, just not as many as before. When Cas said "all" he meant everyone else from his particular garrison had died, other than him. Anna, of course, already had, in S4. ;)

Your scream at the end of the episode at 12:41 was hilarious! 😂 especially since I understand. You get so into an episode you don’t realize it’s almost over and then it suddenly ends, even more shocking when it’s a cliffhanger like that 😂

Definitely not my favorite season. The leviathan story line was frustrating. Losing Bobby sucked the most. Of course Crowley being his double dealing self is always fun. The Ever changing Castiel. Misha had to roll with the punches this season. It was definitely a lot. Can’t wait to hear your wrap up.👍🏻👏🏻🤘🏻

i agree the leviathans weren't good didn't enjoy them at all. Thankfully, many many more seasons of other stuff. they'll be left behind, new stuff on the way.

I'm the exact opposite, while, not my favorite either, I think the Leviathans were brilliant villains. It made all the other pointless shit in this season small compared to how well thought out they were. Dick Roman is one of my favorite characters. Creepy, smart, and just kind of awesome. Loved having Bobby back, even if it didn't end to well. Honestly, the whole Dean and Sam being on thin ice with each other was nothing new, so that wasn't even the worst thing about the season. I just hated the way they tried to kill Cas off too early, luckily the fans got involved and he came back. Crazy Cas is a favorite version of mine and despite how much weight Cas was under I wish it had gone on for longer because there was so many great funny moments that came out of that trope.
