Yep so true. Let’s be honestly. Supernatural ended at Season 5. After that the show became unrealistic. No one was really dead, the comedy went over board. and like you said the show started to be complicated. Season 6 and 7 were alright. But after that it just didn’t have that scary dark vibe anymore. Yellow Eyed Demon is by far the best horror villain of the show. I do like the comedy. But seriously Scooby Do and other parody stuff. Come on. Tone it down would ya.

Whenever I rewatch the series on Netflix, I have to watch this recap before I watch S1 finale. I remember watching it when it first aired. It got me so revved up to watch the finale that I can’t rewatch the episode without it.

Okay so I'm really confused, I'm new to Supernatural and watching it on Netflix and in the season 1 finale the montage music was "this is a calling" not Carry on my Wayward Son. Did they change it or something?

The first season on Netflix has different music in some parts. Might have something to do with copyright. I believe the second season on Netflix will have Carry on My Wayward son though as well as the original music in other episodes. Don't know why they didn't have copyright problems with the other seasons but only with the first season.

They actually were in series 1 but they did it at the beginning of the penultimate episode and now I think they’ve changed it when you watch it on streaming services, not sure why though

I couldn't watch supernatural,but I needed the fanodm SO I (which is called good fangirling) I knew everything about it and the song was just omfg and when it came on for the first ime my friends recorded me bc they were there while watching and they came in and the song came on when they came in and I just..I just ...I can't even..that song is a son of a bitch
