We know how the show should end. Dean and Sam talking about the good old days and talking about what to do next. drinking a beer with Cas. the camera pans out and you see Two Young hunters washing baby. They are Sam and Deans Sons. picking up where there dads left off. The family business hunting things saving people. Then a NEW TV show can start. 8) We want to see Bobby and Mary get together!! I’m so uncomfortable right before the last question Jared states ‘remember to purge after you binge’ since the woman stated she was binging the show. It was such a jarring statement to hear all of a sudden and I’m blown away that it was said. *Edit* I posted this only to see if anyone else in the SPN family saw it the same as me. 'Binge and purge' is my eating disorder, and it was jarring because I've never heard people use them in the sentence to talk about anything other than an eating disorder and wanted to see if anyone else saw it the same. I am in no way attacking Jared or hating on Jared for this statement causing a shock in me I wasn't anticipating because I didn't think I would hear that phrase in the context of binging a TV show. I know Jared is a sensitive anxious soul (as am I) and feel as though he would rather someone say 'what you just said wasn't that great' vs just burying it down deep. But what do I know?

It’s the connatotion. A binge must have a purge. How does one purge a tv show? That statement doesn’t make sense. Hearing someone tell someone to purge after a binge takes me (and I’m sure a lot of people) straight to a cold bathroom floor. I know he didn’t mean it that way. But it was still jarring and still did that. My comment is to ensure to anyone just like me that that is a valid thought to have and I hope that I’m not the only one having it. Because I can’t rationalise the joke he was trying to make. I don’t know how one purges a show they binge on but I have purged a very different kind of binge.

I also suffer (and have all my life) from an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa) . I never thought for one second that Jared was making fun of me. If words like that trigger you I feel for you, I really do. I found early on that I couldn't protect myself from everything big or small that might affect me adversely. I also learned that it isn't the fault of anyone who might say or do something that makes me uneasy. That is NOT on them, it is not their fault. They don't know who I am or what I am afflicted with. No matter what a person's issues are it isn't on anyone else to edit everything they say. And yes you can Purge a show out of your life by tossing all of your DVD's, paraphernalia, collectibles, stop watching the show, don't go to conventions or watch them on youtube. Purge the show and Jared out of your life., Jared and Jensen also do the cleanse so they can Purge the toxins out of their bodies.

He certainly didn't mean it that way, seeing as Jared is an amazing guy, but the slip up happened and some people who struggle with binging/purging issues will immediately take it to the place of food. Think of it this way: if someone with suicidal ideation says something like "Don't hang me out to dry like that, man" and someone else says, "Haha, I'll get the noose," the first person might not automatically take it in a joking manner or look for the lack of logic behind it. It might make them uncomfortable. And because of their dilemma, they don't have to look that hard; it might be the first thing they see. That's okay. That's valid. It's human, just like it's human that he made a mistake. I'm sure he would apologize if he realized the implications, seeing as he is such a big proponent for mental health help.
